The "chug chug chug" sound is caused when the piston goes back and then forward again. This wheel and piston is moving at a snails pace and yet we here the "chug chug chug" sound as if it was going 60mph. Obviously the wheel is just moving with the aid of an electric motor while a "train sound effects" CD is playing.
