I've spent the last year or so deciding what car to replace my Astra Coupe turbo with.
So far I've looked at S4's (twin turbo and V8 versions), M3's (E36 and E46), Impreza's (the 2.5 turbo), 350Z's (313 edition), Mazda MPS's and 3000GT's, as well as various other vehicles. And yet its strange that a mere Clio with a 3.0 V6 engine thats taken my fancy above them all.
I've got a mechanic friend who bought one of these second-hand Clios back in Germany. I don't know how much he paid for it, but it should have been quite a bargain considering mechanic's wages (where I live at least) aren't very high.
My fiancee and myself are going to Spain in two weeks and I specifically rented the Renault Clio, a French car which doesn't exist in the US... I can't wait to drive this fun little car.
If you just asked for a Clio then changes are you'll end up with an old 1.2 which won't be comparable to the clio V6. If you get lucky they might give you some kind of sport version with a slightly bigger engine. 1.4 or 1.6, certainly not a 182 or V6 though.
Not alot really considering a 182 is 184 BHP and the Civic Type R is alot less in price than the V6 and smaller engine, YET it has 30 less BNP than the V6.
