@njestyle That's why it works - this scene isn't very... Friendy. Joey just caught Ross betraying him and he's getting his own back by kissing Rachel. If you chose this song in any other Friends scene, it wouldn't work, but this scene is almost evil compared to other scenes... so it works! :)

@ryo7200 Actually it wasn't "evil" at all. Joey never loved Charlie so it wasn't a real betrayal on Ross's part. Joey fell in love with Rachel months prior to this, during her pregnancy and when they were roomies. He was looking for an excuse to show her how he felt about her, so seeing Ross kissing Charlie justified his going to Rachel's room. The look on his face says it all -- he was GLAD he had a reason to go to her.
