Soooo... Yes I had this surgery done over 3 years ago and I love it thus far. I have better than 20/20 eyesight and don't mess with contacts or glasses. It didn't hurt, the contacts are surgically implanted with "hooks" to keep them from shifting, and this was one of the few options available to me for "permanent" vision correction.

And then they still do a huge amount of testing (for at least a day) before they will even consider you to be a candidate for sugery. I just don't understand why some people who comment on this video are so very ignorant... this procedure is done to make a person see without glasses or contactlenses! It's a very safe procedure if you let the right surgeon do it. I had it done under complete narcosis so I didn't feel a thing. I can now see better than ever before! And because I had very bad eyesight, it didn't cost me a thing either (hooray for living in The Netherlands) :)

Ik vond laseren persoonlijk niks, aangezien ze het niet terug kunnen draaien... :(

My mother did that because she had "catarata" (that is an illness in the eye) it was perfect. She can see well know , she can drive her car again, she looks happy. The fact is that all surgeries has their own risk, you have to take a lot of care after the surgery.
