Just my two cents on whether he was a troll or not (I know I'm two months late on this, I just thought of him today for some reason): WHO CARES? In the end, we really won't know. What I DO know is that people united together for a positive cause, and showed they cared. I know I was touched by the replies to Lucidending, and I think others were too. When it comes down to it, he acted decently online, and didn't act like the world was ending. And people cared. That means more to me than anything.

I so with Lucidending would read the book "Heaven" by Randy Alcorn before he takes his life. I read in USA Today that he was "terrified" of dying. This book can give him hope of a wonderful, pain-free, joyful eternal life when he leaves the realm of earthly life and steps into eternity.
