To be fair Daniel Bernhardt is a good martial artist and while not a great movie this is the best of the sequels. Parts 3 and 4 are completely unwatchable.
Bloodsport is VAN DAMME, the history can not be changed. The bloosport II represent a fake-bloodsport and it just one more of many fakes the immitators appear when there is no creativity

This movie has everything the first one had except for..... Van Damme and his charisma and incredible onscreen martial arts ability, Bolo Yeung as a wonderful and scary villian, the great shots of a mysterious and underground Hong Kong, an eclectic mix of various martial arts fighters with different styles and ethnicities, and a GREAT final fight scene that brought all those elements together. Other than that, this movie has it all.
Having listened to your vocal review of this movie, I can by observation combined with the experience of the martial arts I personally have aquired over 25 years say that you are sorely lacking in knowledge. The very things you denigrate are quite real, if outside your experience or understanding. Now, if you wanted to say that some of the fight sceens were too slow and too staged and that noone will ever let someone else run and jump kick them, then you are right on. Study first, then talk.

bloodsport is a cool movie but the fighting is slightly better on this sequel than original in the original fight scenes either one or two punches here are their well bloodsport 2 gets a lil more in depth with the fighting at times both movies really do lack something the 1st had the story good but the fighting was ok or below average while the fighting on bloodsport 2 was average to slightly about average both good movies i agree with the whole iron hand the dim mack and intro wasnt ascool

Cause a kumite is a kumite, whoever dies in it, everyone stands and the 3 main guys turn their backs.
