  • how do you know black american history your not even from american, i dont know what BAs you have encountered that would say such lies im sure u are lying to prove your point because you seem to forget we are arrogant Americans and we don't care about the Caribbean, we also did fight for civil rights against the majority White population where as you AFRICANS, WEST INDIANS come from predominately black regions and were to lazy to get your shit together so you come here and reap OUR benefits

  • LOL....what?! Are you serious?! Tell me you're joking.

  • One must do their own research on history because the truth is not taught in school to perpetuate stereotyping of whole populations of people. Remember those who rule determine what history is taught and what is omitted or better yet what lies are told to glorify the rulers. Often times people regurgitate what someone told them rather than read for themselves which is sad. The truth is often in our faces but because we've been heavily indoctrinated we don't see it.

  • have you hear of any Caribbean history in America? the is not a school in America that teaches true black history so i think u should focus on enlightening the masses. from kindergarten to college Marcus Garvey name has never been mentioned and its a shame but that's the American School system for u. Did u know that Texas will be removing parts of slavery out of there textbooks because they believe it tarnishes Americas image?

  • Those idiots need to read about the Triangular trade...

  • Ms King is correct. "most dangerous place for an African American is in the womb.”

Yet somebody thinks Manhattan women should not know,"

most dangerous place for an African American is in the womb.”

    so the poster was removed.

  • i dont know who your arguing with who says that africans willingly migrated to the caribean. I think the african americans mean that they fought for you to have rights and be free in th U.S

  • WTF!? Slavery was abolished in Mexico and in many other places WAYYY BEFORE the USA did.

  • seriously , you need to stop judging the knowledge of african americans as a whole by what a few ignorant youtube people said in an email or post. the average american thinks people were walking around when dinosaurs were on the planet and some god created everything in 6days. americans in general are incredibly ignorant of american history and that includes white americans.

  • @lineartechbd1600 Since when did the average Amerian believe that humans were walking with Dinosaurs..Not even most religious people believe that. (No im not religious but YOU assume something based off a few crazies.

Majority of the world thinks everything was created by a god....are they wrong yeah probably but couldnt you give them a break on that. Gods may have "helped" them in ways you dont understand. Im sure getting rid of that help would be wonderful for them. SARCASM.

  • The black people in America that think they were the only slaves need to be taught not adressed, there's no point even pointing this out to them. They need the facts presented, then they can make a decision, hopefully the right one! But if they dont get it then, they just have to be ignored, basically. Black people in America and Carribeans that come to the West, often have extremely warped or eurocentric views on black history...Often self-pity, or hatred issues (normally aimed at africans)

  • Afrocentrics... *facepalm* I don't argue with them either its like talking to a little bratty 8 year old.

  • Well those African Americans Need to get there facts straight cause without the facts all there doing is creating chaos and confusion and thats why you need to address it Dream Reborn and debate it cause people need to know that what your talking about is serious

  • when I was in highschool they did discuss about but when I did my research they left out the fact that whites justified slavery thru religion. I also heard that the book companies that make history books now called the slave triangular trade into the triangluar trade so people wont think of slavery as a horrible thing

  • @HungryNinja360 What whites done to black people was not slavery that was legalised killing... slavery was common practise slaves had rights, and could, buy back their freedom. Scriptures (bible) have guidelines to how slaves were to be treated. They got the bible from the people they conquered via the Greeks and Romans, the bible is an artifact to White christians.... A history lesson really is needed, it requires a time line and dates, and has to start from further back than black slavery.

  • @neotech888

    thanks for correcting me :)
