@raptor23456 Actually, Zuo Ci is a non-canon character based of a myth during the real war, when an old man came to Cao Cao and taunting him, predicting his death. Cao Cao had him tortured and sentenced him to be beheaded unless the man apologized. The old man didn't, so he got his head cut off, but not before warning Cao Cao one last time as he watched the man's death. And just before the blade hit his neck, the man disappeared, causing Cao Cao to feint.

But it's just a myth, obviously.

@dcp93 Zuo Ci was a mystic that played some pranks on Cao Cao in a certain chapter. He is one of the few known "mystics" such as Yu Ji, Hua Tuo, Sima Hui, and etc.

Yeah, Wu was really crumbling before Liu Bei at Yi Ling. They were in awe of how quickly his troops could burn to a crisp, I guess.

And I suppose you're thinking of Sima Yi when you say Cao Cao was surrounded by traitors, but that's only one guy out a great many loyal, talented men of honor, like Li Dian, Dian Wei, Zhang Liao, Xu Huang, Cao Ren, Xiahou Dun and Yuan, just to name a few.

I take it you never read the book. Guan Yu and his brothers attacked a prime minister Che Zhou, who was appointed by Cao Cao. Guan Yu shouldn't have died. Liu Bei told him to defend Jing, not to attack Fan Castle. Instead, he marched on Fan Castle with an attitude of arrogance. He died because he was impetious. In the same respect, Zhang Fei died the same way. Shu was impetious and brash.
