Moi qui ai la Mégane 3 RS, je dois avouer que l'accélération de la R est une pure tuerie. La DSG, le 4x4 haldex. Juste dommage que l'évolution au niveau du désign n'évolue pas bcp comparé à la version V. Je préfère la M3RS de ce côté.

I had the same problem, i choose golf r because i am 24 single (engaged), no children, quick answer, next car in 5 years will be new insignia opc or passat cc r36 or audi s6. golf r is better for track, will give you more fun and its cheaper (cost of car and fuel). answer me what will you buy...
let me clarify. the tts, S3, golf R have same Haldex system. sub 5 sec is the time for the TTRS, which as someone pointed out is V5 2.5L turbo. can't compare them really.
no such thing as a v5. The TT-RS though I thought was a mid 4 second 0-60. I saw a test where the tt-s was clocked at 4.9 sec to 60. Some testers seem to get better times, so maybe it's as simple as that.
And yes Churchill, everything about the way the cars transfer power and what makes them all wheel drive is IDENTICAL.
new R has 70% rear 30% front with hydraulic system meaning if you launch hard and wheel spin the front wheels activate almost instantly , soon as you get traction the rears are almost 100% so you get the best of both worlds take off and constant speed
It is a part time awd but it has an upgraded haldex clutch so it is damn fast now. You won´t notice any difference between a full and part time awd. I mean on this Golf R.
no it's not man ;) there both Haldex Gen 4 (latest generation) AWD system. They are both FWD until front wheels are spinning but this generation (on the TTS and Golf R) translate power in a better way and is way faster than the old haldex generation

Jetzt noch die Automatik auf S stellen, im Stand Bremse und Gaspedal gleichzeitig drücken damit er bis zum Begrenzer geht, dann Bremse springen lassen und von 0 auf 100. Nicht von 10 auf hundert!

that was not the S mode... that was D
in S it revs to 8300 until it changes to the next gear.
i drove that car today and i thought the S mode is not very good.

I had the same problem, i choose golf r because i am 24 single (engaged), no children, quick answer, next car in 5 years will be new insignia opc or passat cc r36 or audi s6. golf r is better for track, will give you more fun and its cheaper (cost of car and fuel). answer me what will you buy...

let me clarify. the tts, S3, golf R have same Haldex system. sub 5 sec is the time for the TTRS, which as someone pointed out is V5 2.5L turbo. can't compare them really.

no such thing as a v5. The TT-RS though I thought was a mid 4 second 0-60. I saw a test where the tt-s was clocked at 4.9 sec to 60. Some testers seem to get better times, so maybe it's as simple as that.
And yes Churchill, everything about the way the cars transfer power and what makes them all wheel drive is IDENTICAL.

new R has 70% rear 30% front with hydraulic system meaning if you launch hard and wheel spin the front wheels activate almost instantly , soon as you get traction the rears are almost 100% so you get the best of both worlds take off and constant speed

It is a part time awd but it has an upgraded haldex clutch so it is damn fast now. You won´t notice any difference between a full and part time awd. I mean on this Golf R.

why is the tt-s faster? It's the same engine, similar weight, and both have dsg. Why does tt-s go 0-60 in 4.9 sec?

i have 4.8sec for 0-62mph for this Golf R so its about the same performance ... plus, they are two in the car...

Ahhhh just found the answer. The TTS drives with permanent AWD, the R just if the ESP recognizes slip at the frontwheels.

no it's not man ;) there both Haldex Gen 4 (latest generation) AWD system. They are both FWD until front wheels are spinning but this generation (on the TTS and Golf R) translate power in a better way and is way faster than the old haldex generation

Ja mir wurde auch die KW11 genannt. Frag ob die echt alle Aufträge gesammelt haben. Kann ich mir gar nicht vorstellen... wobei... jedes mal zwischen 100 Normalen Golfs einmal "Sonderausstattung R" verbauen zu müssen könnte auch ziemlich zeit- und kostenintensiv sein...

Jetzt noch die Automatik auf S stellen, im Stand Bremse und Gaspedal gleichzeitig drücken damit er bis zum Begrenzer geht, dann Bremse springen lassen und von 0 auf 100. Nicht von 10 auf hundert!
Aber nach Wochen endlich mal ein neues Video vom R!!!
