You have to take it in to get it fixed, which will be expensive. OR You can get a new phone, but you'll be paying for two contracts....which isn't a good choice. :(
@kennnnish first off. ur a guy named ken and u had the same phone? lol thats a girl's phone. its shaped like a cosmetics kit!!! fail. second i just reupped with solo for another 2 yrs after my contract ended. where else would i get unlimited local calling for $19 a month? and if ur so concerned about ur "cosmetics kit" phone breaking on u, then just buy the goddamn extended warranty for $35.

First of all I DID buy the warranty, which was more than $25. Why would I accept a new contract when I would have to pay for TWO phones? That's the most retarded thing I have ever heard. I have never dropped the phone on the floor OR in the water. Not once. The phone was taken in and it was confirmed that it was a SOFTWARE ERROR. That's great that you think they have good reception, coverage and cheap plans. In my perspective the whole company is shit.

My plan is a Solo Insider Plan-36M @$17.50/month plus Feature combo 9@ $9.00/month
I really don't use my phone at all and so far between July 26 to Aug 10 they charge me $ 104.37, including services that don't have on my phone like Data plan@$25/mth and Motime.ca....1 event for $10

a few reasons why ur an idiot
1.they want u to repair ur phone for $600 yet the phone is worth less than $100
2.u didn't buy warranty for a measly $25 at the store when they activated the phone
3.they offered u a new contract yet u refused
4.my sister had the same phone and it worked gr8 for 2 yrs. so i know u dropped it too many times or it fell in water
5.solo is known for having shitty phones yet they have great reception, coverage and cheap plans.
