  • think you could talk slower?

  • Prius has a foot operated parking brake, not a hand brake. also, for tri400, the massive battery doesn't operate the small electronics (lights, radio, computer), just the drivetrain, but the prius needs that computer to turn on.

  • Best video. Do I need push start button with jump cables on? Or should I take it off first?

  • @SreeNidhiSai

Yes, the jump cables should be connected when you push the Prius start button (at 6:56 of the video).

  • Not sure if this applies to gen2, but for gen3 the positive terminal of the battery has got a metal plate on one side and plastic on the other side... thus it matters how you clamp. Only the "cable-side" of an alligator clamp connects electrically (the other side of the clamp is electrically isolated), so that is the side that needs to make contact with the metal plate.

  • why do u need the 12v battery to start the Prius?

Its supposed to be hybrid, so the massive Lithium battery is meant to get the car moving, and at higher speeds the petrol engine kicks in.

  • Thanks good video
