you want believe or not, but dogs are so inteligent, so they really tried to modulate they voice for to want speak. They try repeat sounds, which speak they "owner"
It's the staffy yap! if you've ever owned a staffy you will always know when one is near, if you havnt, you will think its a yorkshire terrier, lol. i once got asked if i had a parrot when my cleo was overly excited.
They truely are the most wonderful dogs. I have one and she is a darling. Its just a pity that thanks to a small minority, they have been given such bad press.

I'm a convert - I used to be scared of these dogs until I got an Irish Terrier puppy and we've met so many friendly Staffs, great characters, just like the Irish Terriers.
my staffy says very distinctly "i love you mama". i thought it was just mine, but i guess they are super chatty... some times ill ask hm to do something he will flatout say "no!" im like..hhmm little teenage boy.. outside! lol
haha he sounds like a cat - mine sounds like motorbike 2 but he only does it when you ignore him - not that often - hes hard 2 ignore! check out JAY THE STAFFY for my vid. :)
They're such big, muscley, strong brutes of a breed.......... then you hear them barking and whimpering.. lmfao! Love Staffies, brilliant breed, comical breed and your little one is a dream :)
@we6812 They're known for their 'speaking' abilities. Mine only does it when he has to wait and when he's at the pet store. He likes to let people know he's there XD
that's what mine with separation anxiety does when i leave her in the car with my gf

My white and brown staff sounds like this except a little louder and more like a screech sound.. Kind of like a dolphin really.

@ Mine does it if I have a stick and he wants me to throw it, big butch male and he will yap like a chihuahua. Its so high pitched it hurts my ears.
