I just love the variety here, I am going to follow Euroboss this season. It has something that F1 is just lacking - and is more accessible. Once F1 goes down to V6 engines it is no longer the top of the motorsport league- whereas Boss still has e.g. V10 F1 cars such as the Arrows. I think I am in love.

They NEED to stop short shifting, I wanna hear those V10s scream! The only one that was kindaa goin for it was the 7up car.. do these not rev as high as F1 cars? Because that "Orange" car looks pretttyyy familiar from 90's F1

@trlalli92 Most if not all of the ex-F1 cars will be running a Judd V10 as opposed to the engine they ran in period, the engine is built with longevity in mind and would be used for an entire seasons racing. Plus who wants to pay 60k+ for a new one when it goes bang. I can also tell you that the 7up car is a Jordan F1 from about 92, and the orange car is an Arrows F1 from about 2001.

The Jordan is the 191 from 1991 and the Arrows is the A22, from 2001.

Beautiful cars like these, most of them rebuild (at least the 191 was fully restored to race in this championship), is normal, like you say, the owners of the cars take it easy. Not only an engine rebuild would be really expensive, but a crash would be catastrophic. Thats why these guys dont gun it in anger like a f1 driver would do when these cars runned at full speed at the top of their game.

Tolles video! Den grünen Jordan kann man wirklich als Schönheit auf vier Rädern bezeichnen. Das Zurückschieben des Jordan bei 8:18 hat für mich mehr motorsportlichen Charme als Schumis Weltmeistertitel. Sicherlich begann Schumi seine F1 Karriere auf dem Jordan, aber de Cesaris als sein Teamkollege zeigte auch ein paar gute Rennen.

The Jordan 7up car is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. I remember watching that car race back in '91. I thought it was beautiful then - but now it looks even better. REALLY fantastic video.

Mmm they are not using there full rev range.. Only the Tyrell does.

And I see 2 Schumacher cars.. 7UP Jordan and the blue Benetton B195. Too bad it has the Judd V10 in it instead of the Renault V10.

Sorry, Shumacher only drove the Jordan 191 for one GP (Spa 1991).

The Benetton B197 was driven by Gerhard Berger and Jean Alesi. You are confusing it with the B195. I Believe that the Judd powerplant installed in that car is a V8, not a V10.

@BallisticEVA01 Yes I know that the Jordan 191 was only driven for one race by Schumi. The Judd engine used in the Ascari/Benetton B197 is a 4 litre V10, producing 750hp in unrestricted trim.. The sound of the car looks like a V8. But it is a V10. The revs are not as high as an original F1 engine like the Cosworth in that Tyrell or the Asiatech(Renault) Arrows.. Judd Power does not provide V8's for singleseater racing..

@BallisticEVA01 The Judd engine is based on the 1992 GV Judd engine which was developed in to the Yamaha OX10 and in to a 4 litre sportscar engine the GV4. This is the engine used in those cars.. Slightly upgraded and unrestricted.. Because of the lower rev limit the car needs less maintenance. The F1 engines like the Cosworth needs maintenance every 700km..

I was stood on the podium at Donington park when BOSS were visiting the UK & the whole thing started shaking - these cars are just immense & in some ways more entertaining than proper F1 (the noise, the different driver abilities, the different designs...)
