Great video. I could use some help from a pro. I created the form on line, everything works great, until I submit and I get a Error which reads " Sorry comments are closed for this item" its not transmitting the form. What can I do ? your help would be greatly appreciated. Thx Joe
Hi jacob. Thank you for this. Need help though as the form is still not showing up, not sure if this dashboard message is the cause: It seems that your ROOT directory for Wordpress is /test. cforms tried to auto-adjust its settings accordingly, however if you still encounter issues with Ajax (form submission & CAPTCHA reset) please open the file js/cforms.js in your cforms plugin folder and check the sajax_uri variable. (After changing the file, please emtpy your browser cache!).
@kcatangay That could very well be the issue. You may want to turn off Ajax. If that doesn't work I would try deactivating and reactivating the plugin. If that doesn't work I would delete it completely (via ftp) and then reinstall it. If that doesn't work I would contact the developers and describe your problem
In the Newer versions of Cforms since I recorded this video they have changed the admin settings. There should be a floating button toward the top right of your browser while editing your form. If you click on it you will find the options to "Update Settings" when you make changes
I am currently using this from with 2.8 and not having any issues. Make sure that you have PHP version 5 on your server. If you are using PHP 4 then you need to install an older version of cforms.

Thanks Jacob. Was about to delete this plugin because it seemed more complicated than I was willing to work through. Now I see things clearly.
I like the fact you cut straight to the point.

How do I get PHP5? and how do I know if I have PHP4?

Contact your hosting provider (ie: godaddy or hostmonster) and ask them what you have and if you can change.
