if youre not sure what the hho / gas mixture ratio specified for your engine is, you could easily burn out the engine!! i know a guy who worked perpetually on hho generators for private use and thought he had it down to a science then a week out, engine blew!! 06 vw jetta vr6.
the best mix off HHO gas is in the title two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen.
seeing as hydrogen goes to negative and oxygen to the positive it makes sense that the nuetral plates are twice as larger surface area as the positive plates. i have two tube cells with a pwm running them. MY CAR IS AT DOUBLE MPG BOOYA TO HHO
The bolts are stainless (don't know the grade) and the plates are switch plate covers for light switches. My newest cell (no videos yet, hopefully next week when it's done) is made of 316L stainless plates. The bolts in my cell are stainless (don't know the grade) but it doesn't matter because I cover them with an epoxy so they don't touch the water.
They are supposed to help with keeping the cell cleaner, don't know if it is true myself. But it allows gas to be produced off the plates without drawing energy from the system.
I am going to build myself a HHO generator at some stage but I am at a loss as to why these plates are called neutral plates. If you were to stick a voltmeter on them, you would find a voltage proportional to the spacing of the plates because the electrolyte acts as a resistor.
Being someone who works in a laboratory, I would like to do some tests to see HHO production while graphing the power vs number of plates.
Should be interesting, I will make a guess that power is proportional to HHO
You mentioned that the water was dirty within a hour. I'm guessung you used tap water. My tap water is filthy in a half hour. (full of minerals) After I get some stainless steel and make a new cell, I intend to get some distilled water. Try distilled water and let me know how it went.
Sir, You mention that there are three connections for positive and three for negative. I see more plates than six so the question I have is, are some of the plates connected that we can't see on the video?
Yes and no. The extra plates are neutrals and not touching anything except the icemaker hose that runs through them and the nylon washers that separate the plates. Subscribe to my videos because the next video (when I get a chance to make it) will show exactly how it is set up. So stay tuned!

Check some newer videos. I had too much electrolyte with this cell before installing. Plates exposed is another. I have a better one in the car now and have an even better one designed. Waiting for the price on a big sheet of 316L to come in.
I am in the process of installing this on my car. I am waiting on the ammeter to show up and then I will be done. Watch for my new videos this week because the next one will be this unit running in my car. *crosses fingers*
I was wondering and it seems a lot of people are seeing the same thing. We are looking at adding some neutral plates too. Thanks & keep up the good work.

Hi
Nice Job.I just want to know Why you need neutral Plate does it give more HHO ? or for just spacing ?

I know this is a noob question but why so many neutral, what effect does that have on the cell? VS +-+-+ Series?
Thanks

BTW, I was a noob myself. But the good people working on hydrogen generators answered my questions also.

how much does this produce per min?

This one is in the garbage. Water was dirty in an hour.

It won't matter what kind of water you use with cheap stainless. I use distilled on my 304 SS cell and I might get an extra day.

does it have to be 316l or can i use just 316? whats the dif?

Wonder if it uses more electricity because the plates exposed to the solution are so far apart?

How many amps are you getting and what was the gas output in a minute?thanks

Stainless switch plate covers. I always use stainless.

I just started in this hydrogen cell stuff, how important are neutral plates?
Is there a big difference? just curious
hetgow 4 years ago
i found a huge difference when using neutrals, mainly cleaner solution, but a lil more gas also.
