Dude you are awesome, I shimmed my old Epiphone FT-135 tonight. After 35 years with me she had bellied to the point of not being playable. The luthier wanted a small fortune to reset the neck. Once I discovered it was a bolt on, I followed the video, like a new guitar. THANK YOU

You now have an air gap between the body an the neck, over time this will cause a serious warp.

Yeah, the info is vaguely helpful, no detail for the novice. I've been doing this for 20 years and there is alot more info and technique to these sessions that they could includebut he doesn't impress me.
