  • Straight up nasty playing!! Wow this is great stuff!! Thanks bro!!

  • son una pasada total, buenisimos parece que se vallan a romper, sienten tanto la musica que entran en una sicronizacion pefecta que puede tranportarte a donde quieras !!! es algo que solo sabe el bailarin

  • Thanks for sharing. Columbia in it's rawest form. The energy of a rumba, when everyone *connects*, is absolutely phenomenal, unlike anything I've ever experienced. I get goosebumps and get lightheaded just watching this.

  • one of my favorites! awesome! thanks for sharing!

  • I love it!! ASe!!! Thank you for sharing.

  • this is really great footage!!!! is there any way you can reupload? youtube compresses less nowadays, back in 2007 files really got butchered! it'd be great to be able to see folks expressions on their faces! love AfroCuba de Matanzas....

  • Dobre!

  • es la danza del guerrero??

  • like hip hop jeje

  • This is COLUMBIA. A warrior's rumba. Nice....

  • When the music hits you feel no pain...letting go and "feeling" is better than any drug on the market.

  • Tremenda rumba!

  • Every time I see this I love it more!!! Thank you!!!! What I wouldn't give to be able to dance like this.

  • haha la ropa sobre todo: muy afrocubana ;)

  • What interpretation of possession of an energic, electric spirit!

Se le montO ... el genge. I FEEL his energy...wonderful video.

    Maferefun hijos de Chango.

  • FENOMENAL! Me encanta!

  • Eso!!!

  • encantado por estos excelentes bailarines, pero ¿cómo se llaman

  • at 1:59 Babalu'aye inters the house! the dansa becomes lame, as a cripple, who than rises, cured by the Drums(rhythm)@ 6:07 2nd dancer feels the spirit, is filled by the spirit, which one is a mystery, notice at 8:00 the sista blows tobacco smoke, as an offering, from 8:50 to 8:55 spirit departs toward the door, what a Blessing!!

  • lo maximo de corazon rumbero de corazon ron sudor y tambor un saludo a cada cubano en cada rincon del mundo y que ciente la rumba de corazon saludos los quiere erick chao

  • Bravo!!! Thanks for a great upload.

  • CUBA = Latin Africa

  • fantastico...buenissssimoooo

  • This was a great video! Talk about getting sweep up by the spirit. The second guy definitely went somewhere else for a sec and merged back, whether the music or spirit.

  • The atmosphere is charged with lots of

spiritual energy because of the awesome

drumming, so that is certainly a possibility.

  • Tremendo video. Gracias por montarlo aqui. Maferefun.

  • So, what's being filmed here is a spontaneous possession, is that right? Is the spirit identifiable by the dancers behavior or movements?

  • He simply was inspired by the music and how the Quinto interacted with his dance steps and his interpretation. No possession lol

  • Are you certain? The sudden change in the dance reminds me of episodes of possession I've witnessed before. Someone's earlier comment below, "Se le monto un muerto" would seem to indicate that at least some viewers of this video are concluding that what they're seeing is authentic possession. What does the filmmaker or other viewers think?

  • It's actually a rumba, just party, but when they start dncing they get carried away, so yes it is a possession but not of anyone orisha in particulart

  • @jackhincham they are not possessed, they just dance in such way, making an incredible spectacle!

  • @jackhincham In this kind of dances ,always can happen spiritual connections whith our ancestors from africa, deidades

  • OMG!!this is soooo incredible!!!
