what they used the bell 205 in nam? i thought only the uh1 because it was developed there.. sure now theres the 212 twin huey, but i thought the 205 was modern too, thats a shcoker to me!
@FPVsean Bell 205-A is civilian equivalent to UH-1D. Air America flew them and did call them 205's. UH-B = 204-A. There were some mods between the ""civvy" and military versions, but all were awesome.
@FPVsean Air America had a whole bunch (Up to 8, I believe), 205-A's with Laotian registrations flying though Laos during much of the war. They acquired them mostly in 1969.
