  • I want to see the entire match :(

  • ARE YOU A HUMAN!? WTF DID YOU DO?

  • 外人共これくらいでびびってんじゃねぇよ

  • @29tomatodayo だまれカス

  • Best fighting game ever made, both to play and spec!

  • they should so bring back the parry sys for sf4.. closest thing to parry is focus armor

  • Akuma versus the Silver Surfer 0_o

  • scream retarded

  • that was amazing!

  • Oh no... The arguments never seem to die. Can we at least agree that this guy's win was indeed impressive? Just like Daigo, he surprised us with an excellent victory. I just believe that if anyone here claims they can do this kind gameplay. If not better should participate at the next EVO tournament. Make sure all eyes are on you.. and show us all how it's done.

  • @JinYagami they removed 3rd strike from evo

  • I love that crowd.

  • I was actually screaming. Holy shit!

  • I just came.

  • On the other hand you have Chun-Li's SAII 15 hit combo...it's going to be the same each time you see it...there's nothing different about it. Therefore if you learn to parry her SAII, then it's not hard at all to parry.

So how is it harder to parry the same super and not harder to parry a string of different attacks? If you screw up the SAII parry, that was your mistake...but a string of attacks is unpredictable, takes more skill to do so.

    chunSAII < this video

  • it's because, combos can vary, chun-li's super cant.

    This parry sequence is amazing.

  • Why can't people stop using Daigo's parry reference? Because it's overused in many arguments...

Yes it's hard...no doubt...but then again here's the story on that. Even if he parried the fireball, he could of done something different, maybe forward MP or attempt a throw.

    Who knows?

The only thing you need to know is that whoever played Urien got the parry right when it could of been anything.

That's what makes that parry so epic, because of how he read his opponent's hurricane.

  • the only bad thing is that scream

  • Magnifique, genial, stupefiant ! ^^

Quel jeu, il n'a pas pris une ride.

  • look up sugiyama (necro) vs. messatsu (urien)

  • AWSUM!!!!!1

  • O.O

  • awesome .

  • I lol'd at all the stupid fights and the insanely stupid "I'm glad Akuma lost because of all his air fireball" comments.

3S is an amazing game. SF4 is a good game for what it is... it's trying to bring casual gamers back into SF to build a bigger base. Sure they made it easier... how many casual gamers are playing 3S? Not to mention but 3S has been out 9+ years now... Capcom wanted to deliver something new.

  • i dont believe anyone realizes exactly how difficult the parry the urien performed. he had to predict STRINGS of attacks, not just chun's super. what was performed in this video was far more difficult.

  • I can say if i had to parry chun's super (which i have done in combat on multiple occasions compared to this, i know for a fact i wouldnt have been able to guess right on this series of attacks. chun's super is the same EVERY time. the urien guessed right so well and had the timing to get everything right including the strength of the red fireball and the strength of the tatsu. so in my opinion it would be harder to guess this right with any reasonable accuracy.

  • You don't know shit about the game.

You talk about how it was so predictable yet somehow Chun's Super, which is the same move every time isn't?

Yeah, a 15 hit super which any serious 3S player can parry with their eyes closed is a lot harder than a 10 hit combo with different timing in between each strike.

Then you claim the red fireball is was rookie parrying stuff but anyone that actually knows what they saw can see you're an idiot.

  • Oh Lord, I forgot I was talking to DKBLADE shit, my bad. I'm sure you don't play this game at a high level at all.

You talk about predicatability and how Chun's Super has none. Uh.... how much more predictable is an ACTIVATION SCREEN that fully alerts the opponent when the move is coming? Or how about, like I said, GOOD 3S players can parry it with their eyes closed. It's about muscle and timing memory, nothing else.

You can keep making yourself look like an idiot.

  • Your a dumb ass this is sbo you shit not evo

  • who won?

  • the worst thing they did to sf 4 was removing parry

it was way epic, focus is ok but doesnt compare to

parry counter combos also it was good to block on

air, not saying this is better or worse, i love sf4 but this

fast passed game was more amussing

  • Yeah damn true but with parry the casual gamer wouldnt stand a match in SF IV and no one would buy it.

  • this is like the 123143498 time i watch this vid x)

    is just awesome

  • SF4 is a shit compared to 3rd Strike

  • i said that too until i played it, learn sf4 before you judge it, the depth is insane

  • not rly in SF III every mistake get punished much more in SF IV u can comeback with the retarded Ultra system. Still both games are awesome.

  • SF4 is just vastly different from 3rd strike. It is more like SF2, which of course does not appeal much to SF3 people

  • @ergalle That would not stop me lol. I would bring it myself if need be. Maybe one day it will return

  • Wow. Retarded comments on this video. Some little shits decided SFIV is the worst game ever and is determined to convince the rest of youtube that his retarded opinion is true. Yay.

    Cool video, though.

  • i totally agree i'am giving you my award for comment of the month.

  • wow nice skills, akuma got raped

  • This Akuma was pissing me off with all those fireballs. I'm glad he got raped at the end.

  • It's called "Focus Attack Dash Cancel."

    Dumbass.

  • /facepalm

  • Even more, I'd say Kara-Focus attack dash cancel!

  • Thanks for being a scrub, Ark.

  • WHAT A CRAZY ROUND!!!!

  • NUSSA SINHORAAAA

  • If there EVER is a Street Fighter 5, I'm hoping the game will be animated with parrying, similar to 3s with more balance.

  • All this argument/bashing about which game is better is non-sense and a waste of time.

If one or the other does not appeal to you, there's a simple solution. Don't play it or bash it or the people who play it.

Want a technical fighter? Play the VF series.

  • this is by far the best fighting game eva made sf 4 dose not come close to the skill u need to play this the other day played xboxlive a bit of sf4 got my ass kicked coz i don play it that much actually my 3rd time ne way asked the guy 2 put in 3rd strike i happy parry the mother fucker 2 hell sf4 iz a joke compared 2 this gangsta game

  • stupid sf4 is more advanced

  • o..OOOHHH OOHHHHHHAAAAAHH AAAAAAAH EEEEY KO

  • Shit that shit was great!

  • I've heard that scream actually learned from RX. It shows a bit in this video.

  • everyone who ever started playing urien learned from rx

  • and RX learned how to play Urien from Kuroda.

  • 0:07 wtf was that!

  • HP x Demon flip -> throw. do dragonpunch motion with a kickand when your over your opponents head, lp+lk

  • wat u call my mom?

  • The official name is "Hyakki Gousai", which means "Evil Pandemonium Great Smash".

  • This game came out in 1997 -_-

  • WRONG. 1999.

  • SF3 97

    3S 99

  • Wrong! and your point?! this game is more advanced than SFIV. Step up!

  • hahah, how is it more advanced than SFIV? lemme guess? parry?

  • Um know its alot more reaction based and way more options in any given situation. For instance someone jumps in you brain triggures shoryu simple enough right? SF3 someone jumps in brain triggures what anti-air should I do should I do it he might parry me should i just guard. All that happens in a split second so you cant tell me that game isnt harder. On top of all this the creator of SF4 said wants you get good at SF4 you can graduate to SF3. Just saying.

  • Well I do agree that the parry leaves open more options in terms of defense. But TBH I like the focus attack system more than parry, It's a more 'balanced' way of defense plus it adds offensive ability's as well. When I started playing SF4 I did miss the parry, but there are some people who are so good at parrying that they would block out your whole super or basically 60% of your attacks. It turned the game into a "who can pary better" match.

  • SF4 should just be called "scrub fighter 4", it's a retarded game for babies and ignorant people who haven't played Street Fighter since the second one. SF3 is TRUE street fighter, where you're rewarded for knowing what you're doing. SF4 is garbage where you can just spam the same projectile attack over and over and pull off decent results. That shit just wouldn't fly in SF3 which makes it the better game.

  • street fighter 4 is also good dont talk crap.

  • No, Street Fighter 4 is crap, always will be crap, was crap from the moment the first video of gameplay footage was shown. It's watered down for stupid people and babies who don't know shit about Street Fighter and haven't played it since 2, and it's easily the most unbalanced and flat-out worst game in the entire series. It's a huge step backwards for SF and anyone who thinks it's good is just completely wrong.

  • lol dude are u serious Sf3 was the unbalanced SF Game ever. Sf4 is one of the balanced Sf games ever where Top Tier and Low Tier are just 25 points away from each other and u know how many points twelwe is in SF3 behind the top dog.

  • Hahahaha I don't know if you're seriously this fucking retarded or just being a troll but the fact of the matter is you don't have a damn clue what you're talking about and I can see you have the intelligence of a brick wall when you say that SF4 is balanced. Yeah it's so balanced nevermind that most of the characters are underpowered or broken and that Sagat breaks the game with his armor break non-EX specials and high reach/fast projectile spams. You are probably the biggest idiot on Earth.

  • You sir are a fucking moron Sagat is nowhere near broken like Yun,Ken or, Chin Sf3. Even the first major japanese Tournament of SF4 won a Dhalsim and the korean one a Ryu. Sorry you dont have a clue and now build with your sf3 friend a circle and jerk of to SF3.

  • Yun, Ken, and Chun-Li aren't broken at all, if there was an award for stupidest fucking idiot ever you would definitely win it. Sagat in SF4 is so broken that even an idiot noob like you can use him with great success, just spam high tigers and mix them up with low tigers and that's all you need, tiger knee them whenever they get close because it has armor break, he can confirm his ultra with a fucking STANDING roundhouse. Face it dipshit that's the raw definition of broken and you know it

  • Sagat is nowhere broken like the 3 i said. U just talk out of ur ass so just stfu retard.

  • Yeah don't list a reason or anything as to why he isn't broken, like I did when I said he was broken. As a matter of fact don't back up any of your (bullshit) claims, that makes you seem way more intelligent and totally not like a fucking jackass who repeats comments sent his way. Oh wait...

  • Im tired of this discussion i know´it, it even the whole community know it . go to srk,com and compare sagat to this 3 and u will see that most gonna say sagat is far more balanced.

  • You're a fucking idiot and once again you failed to list reasons to your ignorant bullshit claims, talking to you is like talking to a bag of sand, futile and pointless. Just fuck off and let the REAL fighting game players do their thing while you enjoy your Scrub Fighter 4 matches.

  • Haha real fighting game players nothing against 3rd strike but it basicly dead how many outsde of japan play it or how many casuals none u fucktard should thank Sf4 to resurect the Street Fighter franchise.

  • I'm not thanking anyone for shit. Scrub Fighter 4 is a step backwards for the whole series and only loved by retards who don't have the game's best interests in mind, taking away gameplay features and watering shit down for stupid people and babies new to SF doesn't mean anything, it just means you have a shittier SF game. Sales don't mean shit to anyone who isn't a company, you idiot, so shut the fuck up. SF players aren't companies, they want the raw game experience, which only SF3 provides.

  • Well seriously because of SF3 we wited like 10 years for a new SF Game. Sf3 is cool and i love it to but like ono said he needs the mainstream and casauls back and then maybe in SF5 we gonna see parrys &co back.

  • The thing about that is, we didn't NEED a new SF, SF3 was and still is the apex of Street Fighter. It is perfection in fighting game format, pure and simple. The greatest masterpieces are the ones no one knows about, and that's a fact in art as it is in games.

  • Well, I've played SFIV once, the movie sucked, but the game was alright. Its actually pretty fun, but not as much as 3s.

It's hard to talk about Street Fighter 4 tiers, especially since it's only been out for a year. The game hasn't been exhausted like 3s, and theres probably a lot of stuff in SF4 that hasn't been discovered which can change tier listing. You never know.

3rd Strike is kinda unbalanced too, but with parrying it equals it out.

For example = Chun-Li vs Sean is cheap.

  • Well yeah, but Sean's the comic relief character. Hugo vs. Chun-Li feels cheap too. But it doesn't matter, you know why? Because SF3 has methods in place to prevent it from ever becoming a cheapened, skill-less experience like SF4. Parrying requires skill and knowledge to do. Focus attacks... do not. Doing well with your selected super requires technique. Ultra combos, immensely powerful attacks that are basically HANDED to you by your opponent, do not.

  • If Street Fighter 4 were a direct continuation on from Street Fighter 3, I think it would destroy the spirit of the franchise.

There were plenty of people whining about how Street Fighter 3 changed Street Fighter 2's gameplay as well.

Don't like it? Don't play it.

  • Street fighter 3 isnt dead lol.

  • If you honestly believe SF4 is better than SF3 then the only fucking retard here is you. Chun and Yun are strong but they're still beatable by any character in the game. Try pitting a skilled Zangief against a skilled Blanka in SF4 and see if you can say that. Oh wait you can't.

I kill skilled Yuns all the time with Hugo, who is supposedly bottom tier. The game is the most balanced of all the SFs and you're talking out of your ass about something you know nothing about.

  • It's never that problematic. You're exaggerating. Her SA2 should be one bar instead of two but apart from that, the game is perfect.

  • you are right, but match ups doesn't effect SF4 that much, go and see vipers onwned some hondas in japan.

  • LMAO

    nice.. xD

  • I shouldn't have laughed at that but I did

  • wtf o_O

  • Crazy comeback!

  • That initial knee from the hurricane kick comes out VERY fast...makes this parry display far more impressive than daigo's imo.

  • No sir because in order to parry a fast starting super, you have to parry before the time freeze animation of the super, so Daigo actually parried before JWong let it out, and continued it after the initial parry.

  • Wow, that was impressive! o_o

  • imposible its daigo

  • Still, once you get the first hit down you know what's coming next. This parry involved the Urien not knowing what Gouki was going to do next, and didn't even know what the strength of the Hurricane Kick was.

  • When playing someone you don't know @ only one game you can assume that they will do the "hard" parry. Either way you just take a guess and if it's successful and you keep your cool it's payday.

  • no you don't. I've parried it after the super came out - not consistently, but its possible.

  • Play the game before you say shit like that, dumbass. That was parrying, which isn't blocking.

  • That was da shiznit. Man wish we could have seen the rest.

  • is this yuki? wouldnt be surpised cuz that is a beastly akuma too. but yeah, this is a metric shit ton harder to do than diago's stunt. not only is he parrying, he was able to predict a low atk in the middle of a parry (and hence change parrying timing for the low hit) and then parry the next few atks.

  • rofl. You can hear them saying 'Match'. So no, it's not Yuki.

  • Holy cow. Nice counter and finish.

  • LOLBOONDOCKS

  • Funny how this didnt get as many attention as Daigo vs Justin video. as i thought This one is much more difficult to pull off.

i cant parry chun's SA myself but I've seen other pros pulling it off easily. and we are talking about Daigo here, it shouldnt be a problem for him.

besides, Daigo seemed to be waiting for Justin to do the SA anyways. Having Justin attempt a SA and parry it seemed to be the best way to turn the table.

However, this one was amazing :O

  • Oh wow.

  • sweet-ass move detection

  • Holy shit.

  • hey people this is Pierre

  • its not pierre.

  • holy shit

    best urien

  • ........wow!!!!!

  • i lol'd when i saw this.

also to tsuroka, that wasnt RX. he uses gold urien.

  • fucking Christ.

  • When I first looked at this video and it said "Scream at SBO Year 06" i thought someone got shot and people started screaming. I was like! WHAT!?

  • ....lol what? Why would you possibly think that? O_o *thumbz up*

  • god i love to watch RX play, he is rediculous every time, and yuki otoko is definately my favorite gouki player what an excellent match up

  • this is Nihiro but I can see why you thought it was RX

  • ur right, i just watched again, the color is off for rx. sorry :P (and nice eye)

  • Actually, I feel bad because it was pretty pointless saying - and I only knew because I watched the video response which is a DVD rip of the same match. Take a look :D

  • muy bien

  • great 5*

  • pretty boring fight until urien started hitting into him at the end. Some well read moves. And whats with that guy at the end, orgasming or something.

  • Lol, alright? Yeah killing animals isn't good at all but whats that got to do with 3s?

  • AND JAPANESE people DONT agree with AMERICANS treatment of PRISONERS in captivity.

  • akuma gettin chumped as usual...

  • He was about to OCV the other team, so I don't know how chumped was he getting in that particular tag match.

  • chill

  • How do you do that little throw in the air with Akuma in the beginning or vid?

  • forward, down, forward + any kick = the jump part. Then press the grab button(punch and kick at the same time) while in the air. Also, the strength of the kick button determines how far the jump is. Now you know =)The grab takes good timing though.

  • Thanks.

  • WHAAAAEEEE

    i love it.

  • That was a pretty savage ass battle.

    Good job Urien.

  • I love how the crowd always says "HEY" during throws and combo moves for Urien, Makoto, and Yun.

  • WAW .. just WAW.

  • Nice play.

  • jolie

  • Very nice the blocking of knee's hit of tatsumakizankukyaku

  • tatsumakisenpukyaku

  • No, he's right. Gouki's version is the Zankuu Kyanku

  • Ya you're right. My bad. I just use ryu a lot, so I get the shotokan vocab mixed up sometimes.
