At first I hated a lot of Slough Feg's songs, except for the songs on their Traveller album. But now that I listen to a lot of them again, these songs are awesome.

Only the first line or two of the chorus references a poem (The Tiger by William Blake). The song as a whole is about the sci-fi novel The Stars My Destination by Alfred Bester, which he almost called Tiger Tiger. What that story has to do with tigers or the poem, well I won't spoil anything.
