I own this movie and saw it when it first came out. It is an absolutely amazing video. I strongly recommend this film to anyone that wants to know what firefighting is all about. This is the real thing people!

What is this, the college training or the departments training?

Its an actual movie that was made following several recruits through their time at the academy......its by no means the college training.

Just seen the movie and the trailer shown here dont even begin to cover what they put Firefighters through. Being a Firefighter I am thankful someone actually made a movie like this cause it shows those who wonder how we train and how intense it truly is.

Looks tough. Is tough! I've been the fire service since 1974 and believe me, it can get this tough. This looks good. I am definitely going to get the video.

This is how it really is. Being married to a twenty year veteran, I hear all of the stories. It's so intense what these brave men and women must go through. Thankfully, we can count on them to do such a demanding job!! If you ever thought about being a firefighter, you should watch this film and the extras.

I went to the website,bought the DVD and watched it with friends. WOW !! We had no idea what these men and women go through. They are all ready for anything 24/7 !

I'll sleep a little better knowing that there are highly trained professionals ready to do whatever it takes to get an emergency situation requiring immediate action under control.

Been with DFD for almost 11 years now, Currnetly serving in Afghanistan. seeing 1999 Broadway does bring back some academy memories tough days but well worth it. good luck to the class see you out there some day
