Sathyaraj is an idiot. Terribly crass in general. This is not about video itself. Please check his video on Hogenakkal. He asks are we tamils "Kena Koo" and uses middle finger and asks if we should suck the middle finger. I am wondering what is the point in saying koo instead of koodhi like leaving it incomplete makes it decent? In trying to address caste oppression which might have been arguably one extreme end of a spectrum, EVR's arguments basically took the other end of the spectrum questioning everything that is held sacrosanct not just by the socalled high castes but also all those who he supposedly represents. No one has got the right to speak against Periyaar. Remember he has vast difference with the present personalities such as illegal saints, useless politicians. Remember, most of the flaw saints and politicians says good things and advice, but Periyar's speech may get controversies, but he is the only person who does good things than any others. Apart from seat allocations to OBC candidates, he supported to the welfare of the women's development even now the present politicians couldn't do.

Resorting to superstition is not a useful argument when dealing with rationalists. Try using evidence for or against the actual arguments, next time. Like, for example, what is the evidence for the idea that getting "hit on his head by a donkey" implies that "means people shouldn't trust him" ??? The fundamental difference between the religion discussed and Tamil belief systems is the level of superstition and dogma. There's a big difference between fighting for one's rights and being against the rights of others. Periyar fought for the rights of Tamils. Please take your false self-pity elsewhere. Your, or rather this song's, premise is fundamentally wrong. You assume that the creator ("God") is separate from its creation! At least, according to one darshana, namely Advaita Vedanta, there is nothing BUT God! Meaning, God, as per the Vedas, "is one without a second". People translate this to mean different things but the rishis from ancient India experienced the nature of reality and talked about "God" as being non-different from creation. Hence, AHAM BRAHMASMI.
