This is a CLASSIC case of a talented student with a BAD TEACHER ! Whoever taught this kid should change career. The student shoudl not have learned this piece at this time. And EVEN if he HAD to learn this piece at this time, the teacher taught it ALL WRONG ! What a great talent wasted.
This is young man who. I'm sure, is very sensitive. Why hurt him in such a way? How about some CONSTRUCTIVE criticism? If you want to ATTACK someone, attack his TEACHER who has NO exscuse.
This is a terrible performance of one of Beethoven's most sublime compositions. You are not ready to play this sonata, as you don't have the comprehension, knowledge, and life experience to play a master work like this. I find your techaer's decision to teach you this sonata to be irresponsible. Go back and learn early Beethoven sonatas and Mozart sonatas, and work on some very important basics, such as correct rhythm, sound production, and technique.
Learn rhythm and note values. Seriously. Otherwise it just sounded throughout the whole thing like it lacked real practice. It also seemed like there were a lot of little mess-ups with notes too. No offense to you, but maybe you should try some other Beethoven sonatas before this one. I might suggest his Pathetique sonata, especially if you like Op.111 here. It's simpler in rhythm and note values, it's basically in the same key signature, and it sounds just as good as Op.111 when played well.
When one lacks perception their is no remedy. Listen to Richter or Arrau. Compare, then practice for 20 yrs on your own time. Easy to spot bad ballet, tennis and piano playing. Ego always over-rides common sense.

Why be so mean ?!?!?

good effort, but Beethoven is Beethoven and I think that you need a lot more of clarity and a very strong rithm to play a sonata like this.

rich: And you need to learn how to spell rhythm.
