The idea was good, but the execution needed a little help. The volume on the Rick Ross track is a bit low. Turn that up a bit, and maybe kill the treble slightly on Beautiful Life.

If you're using VDJ, maybe use the beatgrid and beatjuggle plugins (sparingly) to spice up the Ace of Base track.

But as far as where and when you used the tracks, I liked it quite a bit.

I think I can help you out. Send me the Rick Ross vocal track and I can mix it with my BL Karaoke version with backing vocals, verse/chorus transitions and bridge. The effect wil be more smooth without sounding "repetitive".

i used the 192kbs mp3 i created in virtualdj to act as the audio soundtrack for this video (done in windows movie maker). some quality is obviously lost when youtube transfers it into a flash movie, but it still sounds pretty decent :)
