you know, you look just fine without all that stuff on your face. i know putting on gobs of eyeshadow is fun and everything, especially with cool colors, but all that foundation is really going to age your skin faster..

I was just wondering if using the shadesticks are necessary, since you are putting eye shadows over them. Couldn't you just use a concealer base? Or, if the shadestick is necessary, then does it have to be those colors, I mean would it really show (underneath the shadows)?

I'm new to makeup, still learning o;o)

you don't have to use shadesticks. i just prefer them over concealer because shadesticks have way more staying power. plus, a colored base makes your shadows pop way more. i don't really think it's a must, it just depends on what you want :) your shadows will show up on a normal base, i think it's way more vibrant with a colored base.

i think jewel blue would be pretty similar, and i think jewel blue is easier to apply. it goes on much smoother :)

i usually take them at an angle with the macro setting on. sometimes i can't get a clear picture really up close so i'll take it like 6 inches away and just crop it closer :) hth!

hey i was wondering how well does the urban decay primer work. I use the urban decay eyeshadow transformation potion to turn my eyeshadow into a liquid eyeliner. (I use black eyeshadow over my black eyeliner to make it look less chalky and glittery) But it doesn't stay. I even use powder foundation as a base. The box says it was suppose to prevent smudging... but it doesn't work. any tips?

i've never used the transformation potion... but the primer potion is awesome! even if i don't wear a paint pot over it, it doesn't crease & lasts all day long.

Stephie awesome tutorial!! I would love to see a tutorial using Mac Studio Fix Fluid fndt applying it with Mac's 187 brush, it's really hard for me to imagine how to do it, but I always hear that it gives an airbrushed look, I hope it gives coverage too.

i actually dyed and highlighted my hair back in january, but i wanted it to be a light light brown color so i dyed it all again in august... but i did it at a salon, i can't do it myself! i plan on dying it lighter soon :)
