"You will love her till the day you die" That line always fills me with such a profound sadness that I almost cry, but the follow up line " perhaps I dont need to know any more than that" fills me with so much hope that I think that regardless of how bad things can get, knowing that there is love out there so strong makes me feel that somehow everything will be ok. Even if it all falls apart in the end, for just that moment when things are right, that is what it means to be human
I see the problem Duckman has: since he will either turn into a criminal or a upper class snob he has only two choices at first....but heres when things become complicated as Time is not black and white. He thought he would be a rich man but another him came along with a different alternative and etc etc, he doesn't know which way to chose as EVERY MOVEMENT changes the course of his future. That's why fixing the timestream is hard and impossible to predict as the furture is always changing.
you laugh your ass off with all the duckmen torturing our hero, then he comes out with "you're gonna love her till the day you die"-amazing! plus,"great taste, more killing" is TOO funny!
Is this the greatest of all Duckman episodes??? Only "America" would come close. But, to quote a Duckman episode, did "the Simpsons do this first" in a "Tree House of Horrors" episode?

I know that this is cartoon but it really pissed me off when they had James madison say that average joe smo can't own a gun. Jo Smo has EVERY RIGHT to own a GUN or any weapon of that sort!

Why? Why can't a person bear arms? Why can't a person defend themselves if they need too? Oh and I won't be shot you know why? Because I will be armed and will be able to defend myself as opposed to some lawbreaker who shoots me because he got a weapon illegaly and doesn't care about the law. OWNED
Oh ok I thought you were some gun control asshole. My bad I apologize but as I'm sure you can agree that in todays age you can't tell what people mean. Stay Well bro
@rotccadet2010 They're are some who really shouldn't own a gun. But this is a free country yet still we should restrict guns to insane people; ie those who freak out when kids jump on the bed because they are germ-aphob meth users with absolutely no life that they threaten human life with their gun collection since life short changed them. If its legal there will always be some person out there trying to abuse it and the same goes with the Government.
Well Duckman is not selfish or cruel with his family at all. He loves the boys alot. Beside he got all choked up with emotion seeing his younger self. Especially when he was going to marry his wife. It's obivous that Duckman would never want to erase that part of his life. =)~
Easily one of the best Duckman eps. ever, and a fantastic third act. On another note, I had NO idea Duckman was MARRIED to Beatrice; isn't Beatrice the sister of his 1st wife?!?
No, at around 4:00 you see the Duckmen that went to the recital arguing against the ones that didn't and there are bad and good versions on both sides.

Interesting: people who frequently excercise their 1rst Amendment rights (the writers) used Madison as a mouthpiece to espouse their own political views. Funny how a bunch of writers believe that the 1rst Amendment is absolute. Bias? Nah. Oh, but the 2nd Amendment is hogwash, of course. What parts of "the right of the people" and "shall not be infringed" is so hard?
I hold the 1rst and 2nd to the same standard. Both were intended as freedoms of the people as methods of ensuring future rights.
@ottselguy I love Beatrice's tune, it just so... well words can not speak for emotions. Am I the only one touched on how Beatrice seems to keep him going even in the most inane situations?
So do something when you know your hearts in it. But follow reason when your doing something so calculated and cold if you put your heart in it, it'd become as warm as Pluto.

no...thats bernice...whos in every episode...the other sister is beverly...so 3 in total :D
MetallicOpeth 2 years ago
@johnnyraybosko no
duckman was never married to bernice
bernice and duckman's relationship is strained
as duckman hates bernice
while bernice feels the same way
jupiterhero2 1 year ago
@johnnyraybosko plus she only stayed in the house because when her sister died
she willed the boys and the house to her sister
so that they could live in a much more suitable enviornment
and despite the fact she cant stand duckman
she loves her nephews dearly
which they feel the same way also
