I believe you should check the facts on how many people have died at the hands of "Christian" extremists. Christianity has killed less people throughout the Crusades, Inquisition, 30 Years War and the rest of recorded history than Islam has in the past 9 years as we watch the amount of terror attacks since 9/11 just crest 16,000 with multiple casualties apiece.

Comparing Christianity to Islam is a weak tactic and is like comparing pneumonic plague to the common cold.

Fail. Did you know that the highest educated scholars of Islam all support the concept of violent Jihad? All of the ranking terrorists such as Osama Bin Laden are exceptionally well versed in the Koran. Most "peaceful" Muslims you mention simply haven't been bothered to read their text or study the religion seriously.

Don't judge Islam by the Muslims you know and don't judge the Muslims you know by Islam. The first step towards a peaceful "Islam" is getting rid of the Koran.

Any Muslim who studies the Koran is for a world under Sharia. It's part of their religion. Christians have faith and love. Buddhists have Zen and enlightenment. Hindus have reincarnation. Muslims have world-domination. It's systematically implanted into their book. Nobody could possibly give their texts an honest read and not reach that conclusion.

The 9/11 attacks were not some attempt at world domination, they were the response to american foreign policy (agree or disagree with it) in the middle east. Those who planned and orchestrated the 9/11 attack were clear in their reasons (support for Israel, presence on the Arabian peninsula, bombing of Iraq), they didn't mention anything about converting the US to Islam.

It's a war against the West. It's always been that way. One of the daily Muslim prayers, the Surat al-Fatihah is a daily reminder that Jews and Christians are going to "get theirs."

You are historically illiterate. The Christians killed more Christians in the Crusades than they did Muslims. The Dark Ages were actually a period of scientific progress. The Inquisition never killed anyone for scientific discoveries. It was all politics. The church was the foremost sponsor of intellectual activity. Galileo had a contract from the Pope to prove the universe was heliocentric. Galileo broke the contract.

Ron Paul is correct about absolutely everything that does not involve Islam. He seems to support the childish notion that if it weren't for US presence in Islamic nations, 9/11 would not have happened. He must be woefully unfamiliar with history as al Qaida chose 9/11 as it is the anniversary of the Battle of Vienna where Europe prevented Islam from conquering it. This is a defensive war against a people whose only acceptable end-result is global domination.

I think Dr. Paul's economic analysis is generally correct, but he denies that there is enmity between the West and the Islamic World in an almost conspiratorial manner. We must not stick our head in the sand and deny that there is a problem. That problem must be fixed with war or peace. The Mosque is a victory flag to many enemies. Decide!

Mr. Hartmann is either doing a straw man argument or he doesn't understand what Dr. Paul is saying. Dr. Paul is saying that since Corps can do something, so why not an individual can. And then Mr. Hartmann brings up corporate personhood argument that says, Corps can do anything an individual can do or Corps has every rights as a person.

I think this mosque is a total setup actually. That it was setup in order to cause distress and division amongst the people. One of the major contributors is the VP of fox news. It's just too involved politically to be just a building of the mosque and not something that is meant to distract and divide people in order for them to takes their eyes off the real problems within the government. We'll see how this works out. I'm still betting on it totally having a political and purposeful agenda.
