Worthy was already open after setting some sort of screen w/ 5 seconds to go. Big game James would have put the Lakers ahead by either a basket or by free throws as you knew that a foul was going to happen if he took it to the hoop. Still a great shot by Magic

This may have been the best Laker team ever. If they did not get hamstrung in the frontcourt, they would have swept the Pistons in four. As it was they led almost all the way in all four games, with Tony Campbell and Mike McGee at the starting guards. True story.....

Actually they never really led in Game 1, and that was with a healthy Magic (but no Scott).

I kinda with Magic and Byron Scott didn't get hurt and miss the 89 finals ... they had a chance to three-peat ... I am a Lakers fan so I would say that they actually would have done it ... but the Pistons were a good team and don't want to take away from their accomplishments .. but GO LAKERS!!!
