This is actually a clip from a short 35 min "film" that came out in 2008 called "Yo! The Return of Son Goku and Friends." It takes place after the majin buu saga. The whole Japanese cast returned to their roles for it. The animation is great, but it's more humorous than anything else. You can read about it on wikipedia.

On the other hand with Goku's Japanese voice......I can't take him seriously with that voice. Some long-time fans and readers raised hell when Teen Gohan defeated Super-Perfect Cell, and when the series became about Gohan in high school after the Cell Games. That's why he got cheated out of defeating Super Buu.
Americans complain about DBGT but it essentially just finally gave Japanese fans

DBGT is essentially what the Dragonball series becomes when you write the story around what the Japanese fans kept asking for - Goku is so uber-powerful that everyone else is useless and Goku defeats all villains by himself. American fans blame Toei Animation but the Japanese fanbase was equally blame-worthy IMO. Toei was mainly pandering to them after the Cell Saga.

For some reason, instead of finding a man to do the job, they've had the same woman voiceing adult Goku all the way through. Hearing Goku power up with that voice is like listening to nails on a blackboard.

I think Nozawa is perfect for Japanese Goku. I can't see anyone else, including men voicing Goku for that version. People like me love the voice, while others will hate it.
Really, Goku's Japanese Voice just doesn't translate into english well, it just sounds jarring to hear such a high pitched voice to come out of a man with muscles larger than Stallone's. Its like listening to Mike Tyson, its just so odd, and very hard to take seriously.
I've never liked it myself, but I can put up with it if only because of the rest of the cast sounds great. The only roles that I really hate hearing is Nozawa's Adult Gohan and Bardock

I agree, In fact I've been so spoiled by Kai's dub, I really can't listen to practically anything dubbed prior to the Buu saga dub. Sean Schemmel does a better job in Dragonball, GT, and Kai than he did in Z overall

Plus I can take Masako's Goku a lot more seriously than Sean's Goku in the Z dub. I mean, that SSJ speech? It was one of the cheesiest things I've ever heard, lol.
But like I said, the voice is not for everyone, so if you hate the voice, then so be it. I love both English and Japanese Goku and they both fit well in their respective countries.

@MrBonez1092 It doesn't sound jarring to me at all. I think the voice is cute and very energetic which is Goku's disposition most of the time. I agree, In fact I've been so spoiled by Kai's dub, I really can't listen to practically anything dubbed prior to the Buu saga dub. Sean Schemmel does a better job in Dragonball, GT, and Kai than he did in Z overall

@MrBonez1092 Yeah, Sean is simply amazing in Kai. Even as a little girl in 1999, I still thought the Frieza saga dialogue was extremely hokey, lol. So I'm glad Kai made it way less silly

Granted the Bardock dub was pretty bad too in my opinion. Every one was inexperienced when Funi did that dub
