@murrangurk I think there's a rights issue or something - FOX won't give/sell the rights back to Whedon, so it can never be shown again in the same format. Basically because they're douchebags.

Apparently Joss' original plan was that there'd be more movies after Serenity, but I guess it wasn't enough of a box office hit (even though the DVDs sold like hotcakes).

I don't think we'll ever see it back on TV, which is a real shame. One of the best sci-fi shows ever made IMO.

"SUMMER!" so as an inside joke, whenever someone forgets a line they just yell out "summer" haha

Lol, I'd love to watch scenes of summer and sean messing up. In and instant it goes from all serious and deep and 'omg I'm the best older brother taking care of my crazy little sister by touching her face an inordinate amount for siblings' to laughing. A blooper reel of Summer climbing out of the stasis would be hilarious, but I'm going to assume out of respect for her there was minimal cast and no reel exists... It seems she isn't in most of the bloopers reels all that often :(

During the show, Summer messed up a really long take, and Nathan yelled, "Summer!" Since then, it was a regular joke that when people messed up, they'd yell "SUMMER!" I guess it took off from there.
