My AI would make fun of this too. By using a spell that hits entire battleground. *Lifts eyebrow* Though I think normally you'd have to resist to evade spells in the first place, rather than moving a bit and it comes up too late or maybe that's just Radiant Mythology spells only.

I bet writing some extra lines in the AI to recognize the baiting behavior wouldn't be impossible... but trying to enforce it would be.

It also doesn't help that your team's AI can be quite dumb at some times... (Something TOS is famous for)
