I agree, but lesbians dont have it much easier, in my opinion a gay son has a better chance with the mom accepting, and the gay daughter with the dad, I dont know why, and Im a gay male. :|
@backflipdramachic Agreed, It is silly to say that they are 'accepted,' the only reason I think people can assume that is that when two guys kiss I think alot of the straight guys will be grossed out, as well as straight girls, but when two girls kiss I think most guys are attracted, but sexual attraction doesn't mean they believe in there rights, they just think it is sexy, but when it comes to acceptance n gay people in general, I think men still have a bigger problem with it, idk. lol
I'm a stereotypical gay person according to the babylonian stereotypes:
I love to fight (taking martial arts is fun), play sports, compete in general, and am very toughminded, even spartan.
I wear what is comfortable, I'm fashion deficient, hate being the center of attention, and only my voice and face is what's fem about me. Other than that, I'm the Babylonian stereotype of a gay guy (supermasculine). Definitely the opposite of the american stereotype, both are obviously wrong
@aisaiah101 Wow, you have no proof of your religious claim. Religious people always have something to say, when they are the ones always wrong and never logical. Hell? Proof/tangible evidence/empirical evidence of that existence? And proof/ tangible evidence/ empirical evidence of "Allah"? Don't worry, I'll wait.
@aisaiah101 I heard that hell is going to be one bumpin party! Let's go bitches!! And plus, Allah doesn't have super powers sir. There is no heaven, there is no hell. There is only death.
Interesting documentary, but as a gay woman I feel like your representation of female homosexuality in this film is very unaccurate(and not even there).I understand that the struggle of gay women is more invisible then the struggle of gay men, but that doesnt mean we struggle any less.I have found that men have no problem female ´homosexuality´ as long as its in some way about them. But when its not it scars their ego and offends them.
@oxoxMusicxisxlifexox i agree with you, i was hoping to find out information but apparently women are put down here too, do you think they struggle any less? they dont have the right to marriage either, just because some promiscuous girls make out in a bar doesnt mean that female homosexuality is any more accepted, no its the perverts who watch and get off on it that demean and make it a social norm, thanks for picking trash television to represent female homosexuals
@faithemariagress I dont think gay women struggle any more or any less then gay men.But we stuggle with different things than our male counterparts in the gay comunity. In my experience men have a hard time taking female homosexuality seriously/beliving they can cure a woman of her lesbianism, wich in the worst cases result in rape.I would recomend you to google "corrective rape" and "lesbian hate crime" to find out more about the homophobia directed at lesbians.
