  • Does anyone know where to get one of those suspension bridges or a wooden suspension bridge?

I live in the UK and can't seem to find anywhere that sells bridges only ladders! :(

  • This is a very nice chin cage... the must live in large space with high and playground... you give in this amazing animal a huge house full of love ...i hope he will love u as you do.. (sry for english ) :D

  • i think that you have a great cage for your chinchilla, your chinchilla is so cute awww :) nice video

  • Where did you get that wooden bridge? :)

  • i just got 2 chinchillas yours is so cute =] also what i have done on mien to stop the poop coming out is make like a frame out of wood round the sides of the shelves to stop it and gess wat it works! and they love it coz they can chew one it =D

  • how much is the cage with stuff o-o

  • This is a great cage, I just gutted mine out as well, and added all new wood planks. Mine is about that same size, you should check out my store as well for chinchilla supplies, its ChinnieShopdotcom.

  • Very Cool video =) I also Plan to do this with my cage =)

  • A question bout the chinchilla couch, does the chinchilla like it and do you have to wash it every week when u clean the cage?

  • I love that wheel! I have one from Forchinate Chins but it seems to go too fast for my Charlie to use it, and it's reallly loud.

    How loud is yours?

  • I wish my Chinchilla's cage was pimped out like that haha. :))) This is actually very inspiring.

  • Hi there, It's about time for my annual changing of the cage for my Chinnie's. I was very curious about which sit it is that you purchased your shelves and the bridge from. I've been buying the large manzanita bird perches to put in the cages but my female is getting very bored of them. I think she might like a couple of bridges instead.

  • this chinchilla is lucky to have such an awesome cage and such a great owner. ;)

  • yes they can be, which is why I have plenty of spots down there for him to sit on that arent wire. Wire is hard on their feet if they have to constantly sit and walk over it. The whole cage used to be wire shelving until I replaced it with wood. :)

  • I love the cage set up. Aren't those wire bottoms a bit rough on the chin's feet?

  • im getting two chinchillas this week!, my cage is made from a huge waredrobe

  • Hi, what's the wood bridge called? And where did you buy it plz :)

  • Hi,

I just got this cage by accident pretty much. I wanted one with .5 inch spacing and I have a baby chin.. (and a not baby) Do you have any issues with pogo getting out?

  • @lucidmostly Yes, when Pogo was 3 months old he could escape through the bottom of the cage and we had to bock it off so he wasn't able to squeeze through

  • @lucidmostly *block

  • do chinchillas smell? do the cages smell? im hoping to get one in october :)

  • @ChocolateBubblesxo No they don't smell unless the cage isn't cleaned for a long time. They do poo a lot though so be prepared to clean up a lot of poop for the next 20 possible years! Honestly they poop every minute of the day, no exaggeration. But it has no scent luckily. :)

  • whoah.... how much did that huge cage cost???

  • @chingirl101 We got the cage from some friends for $100, though the total cost of everything inside it would probably make it around at least $300 or $400.

  • What are the dimensions of this cage? I really like it !

  • im lovin itttt

  • Pogo is one lucky chinchilla and I'm sure he's grateful to have such a loving and kind parent as you! You are taking great care of him.

  • WOW. i love it! most epic and creative cage iv'e seen! Amazing

  • thank you for the links! this was very useful =)

  • I love your videos! :)

I was just wondering... Where did you get your cage? And could you give me the link to where you got your bridge at? :D Thanks! I LOVE everything about your cage! Did you do all of that by yourself? ;)

  • @ChinchillaDiaries I actually bought the cage from some family friends, so I'm not sure which one it is. It used to have 3 metal bar ledges, and 3 bar ramps leading up to them. The bridge is actually custom from the same person who made the tube, and I have a link to that forum in the description. You can also buy bridges at the Quality Mutation Chinchilla website. Message me if you need a link. :) All the other ledges I cut custom from a shop here, for the cage. I just did the layout by myself.

  • @ChinchillaDiaries Needed some help getting the shelves put together though, that part was a pain. xD

  • @000MANDA000 Wow! you really did a great job! :) Pogo's probably really happy! :)

  • I love it and envy you!

  • Wow! Awesome cage. Imma steal it. Lol jk. That would be mean.

  • that is one lucky chinchilla XDD

  • where did you get the wood shelfs and the bridge?

  • @2000Blackdragon The bridge is from Ashley at the chins n friends forum. You can also get a bridge from the quality mutation chinchillas website.

I cut my own shelves from kiln dried pine.

  • this should be on mtv's "cribs" :D

  • Do Chinchillas absolutely NEED a wheel? I'm not sure if I can get one right away.

  • @purplellamarider It's nice for them to have a large wheel inside their cage, but it is not a necessity if you can take them out for exercise often.
