I have a theory that Luke's hair is actually compressed douchbaggery. When he cuts it off, he becomes nice. And we all know that long-haired Asch is a bit of a.... asch sometimes. If Luke (or Asch) were to become bald, he would become the nicest person ever to live. So, at the end of the game, when he returned with the long hair, I just thought,"Dammit, he's gonna be a douche again!"

But I always wonder is how Luke just instantly has his hair style change. You see how in the anime cutscene that it just shows Luke just cutting his long hair off, but a few seconds later it shows Luke having his whole hairstyle changed including with the endings of his hair that were yellow being cut off even though they actually showed in the anime cutscene.

You just move the red marker in the menu to who you want and they appear in towns and world map.

When I was playing this game for the second time, I had Luke in his Viscount outfit the whole first part of the game and he didn't look any different after he cut his hair XD actually, if you have Luke in a different outfit for the beginning, you get two extra cutscenes, one with Guy and one with Tear having to do with Luke's wig X'D

It's symbolic, symbolizing an inner change (or a change he's trying to make) with an outer change. I also think it has to do with differentiating himself with Asch. Of course, that's how I interpret it.

I agree with that interpretation. When I saw Luke with long hair and then short hair later on in the opening movie, I thought he'd cut his hair so he wouldn't look like Asch anymore, because he didn't want to be like him. I was looking at the opening movie fight scene between Asch and Luke and thought Asch was a primary enemy but..hehe, I still had the 'a person's either a bad guy or a good guy' mindset. ^^;

And, if you wanna be technical, his creation of fomicry almost doomed the world.

I loved long-haired luke more because he was not a typical hero and had a real history and was thinking about himself, and everyone else later, like ANYONE in real life, and not just "let's save everyone!".

I dunno how to explain it. There are walls and a roof but the front is like a huge window with no glass where you can see the moon shining upon the flowers and grass. Like a view window i guess so moonlight, sun and wind goes through that huge viewing point.
