@BetMMA he hasnt done anything for Keith Jardine or Diego Sanchez or Leonard Garcia. He only can help fighters with good well rounded skill sets like Cowboy, Carlos Condit and Nate Marquart or Freak athletes Melvin Guillard Jon Jones and GSP. He also gives some of his fighters (usally the ones that win) boring and safe gameplans. I think if most of these fighters trained somewhere else(like GSP) they can be more aggresive and finish more often.

Jackson is definitely great at managing talented individuals. It's like saying Phil Jackson isn't as good a coach because he had the teams/players he had. But in the end, there are MANY talented athletes who NEVER win titles for various reasons.

Jackson is a great manager of talent.

I don't often pick with my heart. But yeah, Diaz is prob my fav fighter right now (other than Spider Silva). But I think everything he is great at, BJ is better. If Penn wasn't so iffy in the cardio department, I'd be really really confident in BJ FTW. But he is not. And as a 5 rounder, I might even feel different about the fight. Enough even to go with Diaz.

Hell no. lol. Jackson is helping GSP a great deal. Nothing is really holding GSP back. He is king of 170. He just isn't as exciting as I'd like and that is due to his own psychological issues/fear of losing again.

That does change a LOT. Penn may be more reserved (to maintain energy) and that would def affect the fight. If it's 5 rounds, I have to look at the fight again. There is a reason why Diaz wants 5 rounds and Penn hasn't accepted already.

Hendo has fight against shogun & if he wins he deserves the NEXT shot, BUT Chael is "the one". The one that has given the spider the biggest challenge & fight & closest to victory. Way better than hendo. So factoring in logistics, logic, fight excitement, Anderson fights left in career...has to be Chael next.

Good point, but there is more then just them, Dan Henderson is a serious force at 185 and he lasted longer than Vitor did, and though I know Vitor is a real test for Silva, he didn't prove he could do anything in there first fight. Sonnen did prove that. But Silva was already coming in on an injury and still FINISHED Sonnen.

first of all, you are overrating condit striking too much. second of all when gsp take striker down, it's not because he thinks his striking sucks compare to them,it's because he wanna make them guess.
