  • Ambitious stuff. Well done. I know how consuming it can be. Check out my work.

  • wooow awesome!!! how long did it take you to do that??!?!

  • @MrsPortgas

Thank you. This is a short chip from a longer film. The entire film took 2 years to complete.

  • Beautiful and awesome! I wish I could watch it in better quality :(

  • It's funny how most viewers of this animation are physicists

  • I know why you got so many thumbs down.

They were in a math cycle with Suggested Video's and looking for star stuff, then they saw this drawing thumbnail, clicked subconsciously and didn't get what they were hoping to see.

    But you got my vote.

  • This is awesome, I wish more people did real animation instead of that fucking cgi.

  • very nice! i don't know why this is getting so many dislikes,I wish the video was higher quality but otherwise great smooth animation, very creative

  • What the fuck is going on?

  • why did you get so many thumbs down... that was cool

  • awesom

  • just know that i understand the amount of effort it would take to make this animation

  • nice animation but e=mc2 ???????

  • eFFing SWEET!

  • This is traditional pencil on paper animation. Drawn in 24 frames per second ... so it's about 12 - 24 drawings per second.

  • @alinachau the ratio of 1:2 per second right?

  • This is really cool, if you got a sec can you briefly explain how you made this animation?

  • Oh I get it!

  • ignore all comment below This is some good skill you got there great work !!

  • Great animation!

  • @welcomeblack well done!

  • This is sweet. Is there a better version?

  • im confused

  • @Socc3rJar3d

I think it's fairly agreeable to say that negative mass is... meaningless, because it would not be able to interact with space-time at all... (I *THINK*)

Also, I'd like to wish you good luck in heating grams of air and launching apples into it.

    @cLaX1227

I doubt protons would orbit a nucleus of antimatter, seeing as protons are particles of.. well.. matter. In theory positrons orbit antiprotons and antineutrons in antimatter atoms.

    whatthebrusselsprouts.

  • um.... what?

  • my ass converts mass to energy

  • @murphdawg700 that would be your intestines....

  • @murphdawg700 lol as energy

  • wtf

  • good job

  • Wtf Is A E=MC2 i Dont Get It All I Know It Was By Albert Einstien

  • wat the fuck iz going on???

  • sooooo original and creative!

i favorited this video. Great Job!

  • By mistake I clicked on this footage

and I wasted 0.39 seconds of my live watching it

  • nonsense

  • E=mc2 = Imagination .. Think About It..

  • we know this is tough work

  • It doesn't make sense until the end

  • this is ?????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MisterTwister92 it has! u only dont understand..

  • It doesn't make sense

  • nice

  • Can someone upload this video in HD or HQ!?

I can hardly see what's going on it's so fuzzy.

    Looks cool though.

  • WOOW

how do you move the pictures?

  • hell yea

  • E=MC²

  • Very nice animation!!!

  • what is the piont ?

  • not very good at drawing faces.. but otherwise kinda cool :)

  • Comment removed

  • Energy mass equivelence. The animation showed objects people and scenery morphing into other objects and indefinite globules.

  • Hm, yeah I see, but it wasn't really the thing i looked for :)

  • @Hb35Jazz totally

  • nice

  • very nice, sometimes the quality is too low to see the animation finely, but I think it's overall very good

  • And Anti-mater and Mater creates Energy as E=MC2 or Energy equals, mass, speed of light (to the second power) collide. So, no this video does not have a "misleading" tittle, 5 stars

  • Bad image quality

  • wow niccc vid but wat does E=mc2 (ininstien's theyroy) have anythign to do bout this

  • +5 for awesome stop-motion, but -2 for a misleading title;

    3 stars.

  • fak u, e=mc2 ? wtf oO ur video sux !

  • Ahem* this video is'nt to cheat us, it's about, Anti-mater and Mater, Just like what Einstein's theory is about. But personally, I don't think this has a misleading tittle.

  • when matter and antimatter collide isnt that like the total destruction of matter itself?ive heard of einsteins E=mc*2 theory of relativity but was never interested til now....

  • Comment removed

  • isnt it 6 grams ? the 3 of the anti matter and the 3 of the matter together makes it 6 ?!

  • Comment removed

  • @Socc3rJar3d Negative grams? So it would float? Don't think so - as according to Newton, mass is just a measure for the acceleration of an object as a result of the force (or force divided by acceletion - so which one would be negative?)

  • @Socc3rJar3d it destroys it physically what about the energy envolved..

  • @Socc3rJar3d anti-matter has a positive mass the only diffrence between anti-matter and matter is that instead of having a positively charged nucleus like matter it has a negatively charged nucleus with protons encircling it it still has a mass

  • @Socc3rJar3d O: .... wha/////

  • @Socc3rJar3d i dont trust your calculations simple because there is no such thing as negative mass. antimatter has the same mass and particles of matter, just opposite charges. read a little before spreading your ignorance on youtube.

  • @rookie4619 in quantum mechanics you do count with negative masses. but antimatter does not have negative mass. But if you want an example of when you have to count with negative mass... take Hawking radiation for example. look it up

  • @Socc3rJar3d when antimatter hit's matter all the energy is released. so that would mean that all the energy from the mass of the antiparticle would also be released. So either one of three things holds true.

it does have a mass, equal to the mass it "destroys" making the energy released twice as big.

or it does not have a mass and all energy from only the normal particle would be released.

or it has a negative mass, meaning negative energy and therefore no energy would leave after the event.

  • @timonix2 spock said it best, "Annihilation Jim, total, complete, absolute annihilation".

  • @Socc3rJar3d i didn't know there was such thing as a quadrillion. what's funnier is that google chrome didn't spell check quadrillion, but instead it's underlying "google!"

  • @bambamthankyamaam Yes there is a quadrillion and a pent, hex and so on and so on. mil in million represent one, bi in billion represents two, tri in trillion represents three and so on and so on.

  • @Socc3rJar3d i just watched this video and saw this comment were the hell did u come up with that lol really

  • Thats why LHC is covered coldest in the universe.

And chunks of only 26 hydrogen atom is passed inside.

  • Yes but both the matterand antimatter are being transformed so in this instance the absolute value of the antimatter would be used since positive and negative are nullified when transformed. So then, it would be 2(3g*300,000,000^2) Heating a gram of air by 3240000032 degrees. If my math is correct)

  • It has nothing to do with antimatter. You're a dick.

  • If you are referring to the video, the man on the horse represents antimatter.

If you are referring to E=MC2, it has everything to do with antimatter, because that is how matter is transformed into energy, which is what the theory is about

  • Perhaps but if I remember correctly my comment was directed at BillyTheSmartical who was apparently attempting to explain the video and was failing miserably at it. It is true that relativity and antimatter are relate but that relation would be similar to the relation the ground has to an apple because the tree grows in it. Relativity could be said to have relations with many topics but not many of those would be direct.

  • I think that this is an amazing Short. There are a few minor things that bother me but its just me being nit picky...the weight of your characters ,and facial expressions could be stronger and more believable ...you have great potential ...mess around with after effects to get your compositing looking better and clearer....

  • i think he wrote "e=mc2" to get views ( to have the video linked to others)

  • wow barely see it, good tho, my suggestion is re posting it in better quality

  • ok im lost. how exactly s this e=mc2??

  • I think it's just used as a symbolic reference to the creativity of this piece.

  • because it is matter and anti matter hitting each other at the same time i think maybe i'm wrong

  • Matter has to meet with the exact same quantity of anti matter to be completely annhilated and be converted to energy, since anti matter does not exist long enough to be measured, it is at present beyond human capabilities. Humans use the process of nuclear fission and nuclear fusion which only releases about 7% of the masses energy because only parts of the mass have been destroyed by either colliding (fusion) or repelling (fision) and extremely heavy elements are involved.

  • Wow this is really nice, i love your shot choices, very dynamic. I wish that your scanning was a little bit better, can barely tell what's going on at some points

  • how is this is this e=mc2????

  • let him have his moment

  • christ, shut the hell up.

  • if i have to define dis vid in one word i wud say......its DUMB!!!! but ur artworks really gud ....a 5 for dat

  • ok NOW I know

  • word...

  • wat does this have to so the thearoy of realitvity?

  • theory of relativity:

    energy=matter

she can create matter out of energy, that is what it has to do

  • energy does not equal matter!

Energy and Matter are different forms of the same thing. They are mathematically "equal" when matter is multiplied by C which is 300000000km/s

  • Geez that must have taken yo a long time!

  • very nice artwork

  • how the HELL do you do that

  • E=mc2????? this duz not have to do with e=mc2

  • actually... it does. The girl is presented as matter and the dude on the horse as antimatter and when they combine you get a whole lot of energy... Basic physics.

  • ok!

  • @CatTubeVids yes it does. he converts matter to energy.

  • @CatTubeVids "Ow iz dis e=mc2? DURR i's dont get it" I idol your worthy opinion.

  • very good! do you have a better quality version somewhere? this is too pixelate and I can't see details °_°

  • awesome! ..(I wish to be that good at animating one day :) )

  • WOw i love your work...

  • WOW :O Nice

  • young lady, u do brilliant work. i too am an animator, so i know what im talking about!!

  • Good work. The focus could be a little better, but good stuff. It must have taken a while!

  • wow. my videos are not anywhere near that.

  • This is me in jaw dropped amazement : D

  • Amazing work! Inspiring.

  • Awesome

  • beautiful work

  • Looks like it's probably very good stuff, but the compression artifacts are really bad.

  • Awesome! 5 stars favorited.

  • cooooool.
