This movie was rubbish! One of Spielberg's worst ones!

It just doesn't make any sense!! So the lightning carries a pod and pilot to the tripod that is already buried there for hundreds or even thousands of years. Why bother burying them and coming back later to take over the world? If they wanted Earth for themselves why not just take it over all them years ago when we were still throwing spears, arrows and stones? And each tripod just so happens to be buried where we would build a city later!

I'm sorry, but making a movie tribute is easy, and this one is pretty bad. That was an epic movie, but he used the cheapest transition effects, out of place music, and a really bad intro.
