@winterbeauty1991 Actually Pip just layed 2 eggs the other day! One of them cracked though. 0_o She hasn't layed anymore though. Houdini is the dad of the eggs! They would be beautiful babies wouldn't they! :)

Keep an eye on her, cause parakeets can lay up to 8 eggs per clutch, 1 every 2 days and the way to see if their fertle is to hold them up to a light or flashlight, an infertile egg you will be able to see right through, and it will have a yellow color to it, if it is fertile, you won't be able to see through it, and it will be red in color! In some cases I was able to see the little chicks heart beating when holding the flashlight just right! :)

@recommendme I don't know how...but one day it was warm and i set this dish out and they all flew to the water dish and started bathing.Though, I noticed that they like to bathe when the dish is up high. (I set a cage on my dresser and it was rlly close to the ceiling in this vid). Also, they like to bathe with my friends parakeets, which are in this video. Any way, when they were younger, i kinda made them go in a shallow water dish,and they eventually liked it all by them selves! Hope I helped

@recommendme Also, if you set like a couple beads/plastic toys, and/or some lettuce or any leafy green that is bird safe, that encourages them, too. Never give your bird iceburg lettuce or head lettuce. i am not sure what other lettuces are toxic, but try putting kale, leaf lettuce, or romaine lettuce in the bath. Thanks for watching!
