at 1:43 you are talking about a sharp edge.put some small holes in a line connecting the light to the lower bumper edge. the air coming out of the holes will minimise the turbulant created by the vertical edge you are so concerned about. and reduce the rear vehicle area to reduce the wake region of the car.good job

you just tell the dummy designers what's what. in fact you should design a base concept Nina. or some other aerodynamicist. and design it with monocoque fiber composite in mind. no driveshaft column between the seats because that's drag waste. only a little for the arms. raise the feet so the floor can be raised and smooth under. maybe recline the seats a bit. the most aerodynamic front, no stupid grill, no intake and kammback end of taper. think dolphin, shark, 'GM ultralite', and aptera
