@wdmforrent1 ur right but i know i could get it up the grade and were it needs to go my dad is an hardcore trucker and im following in hes foot steps the only times ive seen him accept help is when hes pulling 900tons and up but below that the only other time he will accept help is going up an down very steep grades and most im helping him oh he drives a KW w900 with 201hp more than my KW with 475hp i think he added bigger turbo he wont tell me are show me under the hood

660 tons very wrong. I haul the track on the side, 38, 000lbs a peice. The center cross section is 52,000lbs, the upper section is 49,000. So were is the 660 tons at? If you had it he would have all three axles down on the main truck and at least 30 rows of axles on the trailer. What you have there is 70 tons max with a weak truck pulling needing help which is fine if grade is a real 12% because it's hard to show grade on film.

@cranemagic Typical truck over blow up. Like calling a 2 mile back up 5 miles. I can tell by your language your full of it. I run for Landstar and haul crane componits all over the country. 660 tons on that many axles would get you shut down in ever state. Ill make sure I follow this youtube over to DOT for you so we won't have to worry about you on the road anymore. 60 ton is 120,000lbs. Or did you forget math. 660 tons is 1 million 320 thousand pounds. you need over 300 axles for that.

The weight on the trailer is just over 400,000 lbs..... This was an on site move so the DOT can kiss my butt... If you can read, go to Manitowoc's website and you can see for yourself.. @cranemagic Your dead on, I moved one a little smaller, up mountians to set wind towers, it was a million pound crane. The tracks 85k each the house 85 k the car 65k then the counter weight and 400 or 475' of boom, 9x9. We did it in pieces because it was crappy dirt roads winding up mountians covered with ice, kinda crazy in the winter but it gets your blood pumping.

@cranemagic You should think more. That thing has 32 wheels, with less than 10 tons per wheel presure. That means the trailer has a gross weight of 300-320 tons. The crane could have 660 tons, but from what I see is just a part of it. And you think that with a total of 1300hp you can haul on a 12 grades hill a load of 660tons plus the trailer and the pullers? In South Africa, Rotran is hauling 350 tons transformers with 4, 5, eaven 6 Nicolas trucks, equipt with 900hp Caterpilar engines.

The crane has a 660ton capacity. The weight of the machine as it sits is 400,000 lbs. Total weight of the whole sumbitch is around 500 to 550,000 lbs.

@dynolabinc : The front Kenworth looks like a model 850, created for off-highway use only like 50 t. dump trucks or off-highway loggers in BC Canada (150t. loads).

Engine sounds like a Cummins KTA600, (19 l. 600hp)

Drive axles looks like 130 000 lbs Clark Planetary. Ratio probably higher than 10:1
