  • Awesome job!

  • Amazing mod!!! How's battery life?

  • Would you know if this works with the latest PS3 firmware? (3.74)

  • @timpossible83 I'm not sure dude. Wish I could help.

  • i wonder how hard it is to do this for the wii neo geo stick 2...

  • This video has buttenz.

  • Have you found any lag problems with these wireless one?

  • @1dosucol1 Nope no lag problems at all.

  • Where's the dust cap? ;)

I stuck a seimitsu dust cap on my modded stick ,as the sanwa ones are just a bit too big on the stock stick 's shaft

  • @1dosucol1 It's the stock stick so the dust cap is under the cover.

  • i always wanted a Neo Geo,wish i could have got one. :(

  • I can use it on PC?

  • I need your help finding the solder points for the trigger buttons . There is four solder joints 1234 under L1 L2 / R1 R2 on the pcb. which is the signal / ground out of the four on each side? Thanks.

  • Thank you for your help. I just have 1 more question: I watched Lukemorse1's Brighten Your Neogeo Controller mod. It was there, that he soldered the points for the cord to the Start & Select Board. I saw the positive point was in the bottom center of the board, and as for the negatives, they were underneath the actual buttons. Am I Correct? If not, where should I solder If I want to turn the LEDs on or off?

  • @IvoryGecko1993 If you are doing the wireless mod you can use the voltage from the battery pack and the negative as well. Best way would be to daisy chain all the positives for the LEDs and connect them to the on/off switch on the back of the stick and depending on what LEDs you use connect a resistor to each of the negative legs of the LEDs then connect them together to make 1 wire go to ground.

  • @SupremeJudge What about if the controller is wired, and I'm wiring the lights, branch chaining all the wires from the start & Select board. Where are the positives & negatives on the board?

  • what about the original cord of the controller, when on the Neogeo, and on the controller, it charges the controller when the system is plugged in, and the controller gets juice when it's in the cord, and the cord is on the console, and the console is plugged in.

  • @IvoryGecko1993 The original cord is removed since the stick has internal rechargeable batteries. On the console you plug in the wireless receiver to a PS2 > Neo converter then plug that into the console. When you get the chance read the tutorial in the description.

  • I would like to mod my Neogeo Joystick to light up like the Arcade buttons. I checked out Lukemorse1's Brighten Up Your Neogeo Controller Mod. He put the lights under the buttons, but he said something about resistors. What size should the resistors be? I tried commenting to him, but I got no response. So, I turned to you for help. What Size resistor should be used for brightening the Neogeo joysticks up?

  • @IvoryGecko1993 It depends on what color resistor you want to use. If you plan to use blue, white, green then it's an 82ohm resistor, if you use red, yellow or purple then it would be 150ohm. And remember that you need a resistor for each LED.

  • my friend do you think tis fair to pay 130 dlls for a neo geo stick 2 for the ps2? its the orochi versio, .

  • Sweet mod man, very clean. I like those sticks except for the sharp ass angle the buttons curve at, it hurts my right hand wrist within 5 minutes of play! I wish the arc wasn't up and to the right so sharply, and more like the big red arcade cabs...

  • free the wiresss nice man i gotta do this to both of my controllers nicee

  • Dude, that's fucking bad ass!!!! Nicely done!!!

  • Helpful video :-)

  • awesome controller dude.

  • Hey great man, you got a nice channel here, i just stmbuled across on you frrom luke morse1's channel. 5 stars & subbed.

  • want to see the inside

  • Click on the link in the description.

  • That is amazing.

  • Very Impressive, you got some mad skills :)

  • I'm always amazed of seeing your work. You should of been working for SNK. I bet you know more about their company and products than their own employers. Keep up the good work.

  • The Judge has some excellent skills!

Is there such a thing as a PS2 to Neo-Geo converter? I use my PS2 stick on the Dreamcast for example, is there any way I could use it with the Neo Geo, aside from re-wiring it all?

  • Yup, the PS2 to Neo converter is the main component. The link is in the description.

  • That's a really cool and clever mod. Great work.

  • I forgot to say I am really impressed with the whole internal charging mechanism. I should have expected that from you though. :D What is the range on these sticks anyhow?

  • To make it yourself it would cost: AES Stick: $30-50 PS2>Neo Converter: $15 2 Rechargeable AA Batteries: $4-6 2 AA Battery Holder $2 4 Seimitsu Buttons: $10 35mm Sanwa Balltop: $5 LS30 Shaft Cover: $2 PS2 Wireless Controller: $10-15 Barrel Jack: $2 Slide Switch:$1 So about $80-85 in parts unless you got a bunch of this stuff lying around.
  • I meant more wireless range. Not too bad of a price though. I don't think I could handle this on my own. I think you know I have no technical ability, lol.

  • Been wondering when you would finish this project. ;)

  • Great idea.

  • Friggin AWESOME work (as usual)! The SUPREMEJUDGE....makin it happen again!

  • Very nice, clean work as always. I especially like the one with red balltop/shaft and Neo color scheme buttons.

  • Awesome!

  • cool video i like the sound when you press the buttons

  • Supercool! :)
