Parachute optional and that harness really is confining just want to take her up and have some fun. I have my zinc oxide on my nose if thing get really out of control.

Serious props. I fly and climb alpine and rock too. I think the sometimes hostile safety policing in hang gliding has saved lives but is killing the sport. In rock climbing, free soloing earns high praise. Similarly in Alpine, insane lines like the Wickersham Wall become legendary. These don't encourage noobies to copy the same. They are activities for just a few. They take a high toll but they free the sport.

Good trick, and potentially useful to know, but I don't think I'll be trying it. Especially the parts where he just hangs by a hand grip - one good bump to knock his grip loose and next stop, Earth. He obviously knows what he's doing, though.

It might be Tim Travers, a true legend in Oz HG from the past, famous for his exceptional skills that some folk say are unrivalled even today. Clearly exceptional upper body strength too. He looks in full control, nails the landing. Not something I'd be trying, though! Google Tim Travers HG to find more amazing historic vids.

Risky, but I'm sure this guy new the risks when he did it, and had the experience to back him up. Such control on landing proves this wasn't the first time he's done it either. Also, you can really see how stable the glider is by the way it practically flies itself.

Neat trick, ive had a few goes at this and its easier than you think, Ive only 15hrs total and do it in my fun 190. did an aircraft approach around an ariel and landed the other day- took weight up in my harness to flare at the end. try it! could save your life one day.
