The one main problem with all three of the top political parties in this country is that NONE of them LISTEN to the people. In terms of the war, student top fees, employee welfare in the service-industry and immigration. They do not listen. As a British citizen I believe I can comment that as a nation we tend to moan and complain about things rather than offer constructive alternatives. In regard to Iraq - it is still a highly debated issue that needs sorting - lobby the government to help encourage changes, instead of moaning. As it was said on yesterdays newsnight, many potential deputy prime ministers argued that debate about the war is over.

What about husbands who divorce their wives whilst they've been full time Mothers for a number of years? The stresses she has to encounter when they fight residency of children! If women have been away from work for over 10yrs she's expected in her mature years to go back to study for a career again and suffer not only her loss of children but of her home too! He's certainly not 'THE WORST PM EVER', I think Major was worse than him, amongst others. Blair together with the Labour party have achieved such as a strong economy, but at the same time enhancing social justice, devolution and improvements within the NHS(but there's still a long way to go.....
But he will unfortunately be remembered for the Iraq war and the propaganda campaign that preceded it.

So, what does anyone think about political parties trying to gain viewership online? Will we hear any more truth? My belief is that all of you 13 year old spammers out there with minimalistic intelligence and an unfortunate lack of political understanding will ruin these posts for the rest of us. Why is it that every single thing on Tony Blair is negative? Yes the Iraq war was a mistake, but hey, i think he gets the picture now! All war is terrible. But, in this war, we have taken down a dangerous dictator, and freed people from oppression with few casulties. In the whole of the 4 years, Britain has only had less than 300 fatalities. FOUR YEARS! In one day of the Battle of the Somme, 1916 there were 29,000 British fatalities.

I have abstained from voting on 5 general elections due to the inability to believe in any party delivering a fundemental improvement to my life.
i don't believe i could do a better job than you have done i just don't see what anybody will do to improve the situation without changing something dramatically to get the focus back to family life and job security.

I think that's a pretty good way of having a debate. I just think that they actually won't take much of it into account and will keep on being the PC zealots that they are now. I have nothing against Tony Blair, i have something against Prescott and (although he's not labour) Cameron, because Prescott will keep helping all other religions and leave the christians and atheists out and cameron will be even MORE PC, if it's possible.

As former residents of Edmonton,we were impressed to see the transformation of Edmonton Shopping centre, When Chief. Andy Love M.P was speaking about it, some thought it was just politics, now its a reality for all to see and enjoy. Welldone to Councillors Kate Anolue and Christiana During who have been a great support to our people of the Afro-Caribbean community among others.

But then again, you don't believe in democracy do you. If you did England would have been offered a referendum on an English parliament the same time as the Scot's. Then the Mcmafia wouldn't have been able to impose top up fee's, the EUSSR's regionalisation programme and PFI onto the English.
I started out wanting an English Parliament with equal powers to those of our Scottish friends, now only independence will do.

Tony had the Zeitgeist in 1997 but since he stuck his head up Bush's backside it has all gone wrong. Its everybodys fault but his. He is always blaming the 24 hour media for putting unfavourable spin on their stories about the party. In his defence he is probably the best politician of his generation. Its so sad, such a waste.

Tony has resurrected this country. I personally believe we need to increase our armed forces even larger so we can deal with humanitarian crises and other things. And what if we didnt go into Iraq? Who knows what Saddam may have done during his tyrannical reign. Perhaps it may have been harder than it is now to sanction Iran due to its pursuit of nuclear weapons?

He did lie. Iraq had British and US aircraft and drones flying over it every day, add to that all the other intelligence gathering methods that the UK and US had available to them as well as the sanctions in place would have shown that Iraq did not have the capability of launching missiles aimed at and able to reach the UK (this was the most obvious lie), or that they had WMD's (this was confirmed by the UN inspectors).

Tony, I totally respect you.
I stay in Scotland and no matter how the figures are massaged, Jack has failed more targets than he has had success with. Also, the effect that a number of greedy business ideas from the private & public sectors are having upon tax contributions, has made UK citizens and their families poorer and they will remain poorer for the rest of their lives because of this.
I know you have a difficult job, trying to please people, but I can no longer vote Labour. Good Luck.

There is no one to vote for, none of the parties appeal to the majority, that's why 50% didn't vote.
I don't want anarchy just a government that acts for it's people. V said 'People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people'. I'd be happy if this government even listened to it's people, let alone be afraid of them.
Finally, I can complain because I did vote, I voted 'none of the above' and we won by a landslide!

Seems Scotland gets ignored yet again by the Labour Party. No videos on Scottish issues - seems Labour again taking their votes in Scotland for granted.
This is the 1st year that 3 generations of my family have decried Labour as sell outs. Each member of my family have finally seen the light and will be voting anyone but Labour at the Scottish elections.
Wasted 10 years? Yes there have been +'s. But all of these have been overshadowed by your illegal war & your wimpish stance on Trident
