This song was one of my late step-mother's favortie song. Being only 22 years old, I had never heard it until her funeral. It symbolizes her existance in a few simple words- Heartbeat=LOVE beat. She was one of the most caring, loving and giving people I have ever meet, heard of, or could imagine. Anyone who has EVER met her will tell you she was one of the most positive people they had ever met. She impacted this world and peoples' lives in only was people could dream to. Love you!
Check ebay. It should be listed as a 45 adapter for spindle. Also, make sure of what kind of spindle you have. The most popular from that era were BSR and Gerrard.
Looks like you need a new rubber platter for the turntable, unless the 45 itself is warped. If the platter is warped, it will cause the audio to increase and decrease....and it will get worse.
I must have an old soul or grew up a lot younger than everyone. However at only 33 i love stuff like this. Music after say "82 is just junk. I mean i still like some songs even up until today but the bulk of music is disposable or garbage. Thank God For YouTube. And thank you for the post
@Thallis69 You got that right Man, and I'm darn proud of having been there and enjoyed the times. Today there seems to be alot missing, maybe it's just the fact that I am going to hit 50 next year, I don't know. Thank God for those days and the memories!
What can I say... I love this song because it makes me a kid all over again....I have this on LP somewhere in my boxes.....I know this song so well...it's brilliant !!!! One hit wonder. JUST WOW !
I was just planning on uploading this one but you beat me to it. I'll still do it and start a Tarintino-style playlist. I'm sending you a link right now where I'm pretty sure you can get that 45 rpm adapter.

Actually, ahfaxthis, they were a 3-hit wonder. Followed up with 'Abracadabra, #32., and then, 'Save the last dance for me' at #18. God bless!
