I was so psyched when i heard the xbox came out. I was 13 in 2000 and I saved up for a whole year to get my own xbox. That was literally the first thing I bought that was over $100. After I got it, with halo, I was BLOWN AWAY! I knew I had the best system in the planet. Better games, an awesome controller and just a great overall system. I still am a loyal xbox user to this day.

I think PS3 and Xbox360 are equal. It really just depends on your preference. I chose the ps3 because I wanted free online gameplay, and the first game console i ever got was a PS2 and i loved it (still do) and so i chose PS3. But i love xbox too.

I heard bad storys about xbox 360 but i havent encountered any of those problems so I guess im very lucky or something. Anyways the moral of the story is, to me xbox 360 is as reliable as i treat it and i treat my consoles with good care. The system gives me games that i enjoy with the quality and graphics that i enjoy, who needs more then that.

@xchargerOUx Well for xbox 360, if u got it right away when it came out then u were screwed cuz they rushed it out but if u bought a later version of 360 when they fixed that overheating problem then its very realiable.... also ps3 had problems too... it might of not had overheating problems but it had problems with not reading the blue ray lens on the game, etc, basically both next gen consoles THIS time around had major problems that we hopefully wont see in the next console of it!

Not everyone is doing that shit. Microsoft is the only one putting out a known defective product and refusing to admit that it was defective. 54% failure rate is INEXCUSABLE.

They also make demands with developers saying they can't publish their games on Xbox if it is not superior to the other versions of the game or the same in the very least. Look at GTA IV, Rockstar had to cut a entire island because it would take multiple discs and MS wouldn't allow that at the time.

Yes, the PS3 may be alightly ahead of the Xbox (Blu-Ray player, better graphics, no RROD, no monthly Gold fees) but they are very similar. I myself am a PC gamer because I enjoy the enhanced graphics that my gaming machine offers me. My point is, don't troll other people just because they prefer a different gaming experience.

Couple thing wrong with the Xbox, the controller was big and ugly ( what's up with those white/black buttons ever heard on shoulder buttons). Also idk if any other person had this problem but my wire was so heavy over time the controller started to detach LOL. The system itself was ugly and needed an DVD attachment to play movies Wtf. Little to no games compared to the ps2(halo was and still is the saving grace for Ms) I got the 360 and it great but it needs more exclusives!!!!

One reason MS even agreed to developing a console was because of how the PS2 was taking game developers away from Windows where as Apple has never had a big concern with that. We've actually had a rather overcrowded market since Sony started compared to before: having only two really successful competing consoles. Any more and we'll have a very flooded market.

Technically PS3 has a better CPU however it's hard for game developers to use so it's pretty much worthless. This is one of the reasons that PS3 has had some poor cross-platform games because it's harder to make games on.

PS3's real advantage is it's blu-ray player although the majority of games don't need blu-ray's disc space the next generation consoles will.

I know this is the wrong video to post this on but PS2 was better than XBOX and PS3 is better than XBOX360 the PS3 has better hardware its got like and it has 8 cores that run @ 3.2 GHz each 6 of them run on PS3 games while the Xbox has only 3 cores and all run on games the PS3 7th core is used for security and the 8th isnt used this means the PS3 is twice as powerful
