I am a freshman at my high school , and did a announcer voice and made my voice real deep for a pep assembly for basketball and everybody was so stunned and impressed that the athletic director ask me to do the announcing for the high school games ,but I am a little scared is there anything that you would say that would get rid of this, and finally what guidelines do you follow to what to say during games,,and if so can you give me a copy.

do you think that it is mandatory to have a cover over the mic.

@iSportsGuy No, not at all! I use a pop filter on my mic because I speak so close to it, but many very successful announcers don't use one.

hey how did u hook up your computer to the pa system?

@iSportsGuy At the time, I was using a "1/8" Plug to 2 RCA Plugs Y-Adapter" and connected that to a three channel mixer. I now use an "lti 100 laptop interface". Either should work just fine.

Thanks! I'm actually pretty sure that a "clean" version of that particular song doesn't exist. But if it did, it'd most likely be on jamglue (dot com)
