This very true. I use to think this White/power/racial divison was not rea;. It is very real. I live in NYc and it is incridibily prominet here. White is asscoiated with money, which is power. So I fee that coming from the lack of x,y,and z that these people came from, money has strong sentiments. It is comfort, acceptanece to a degree.

"you is (?) a marvel". The first time I saw this firm in 1989 was at a screening with one of the producers, I was very impressed with his comments up until he ottered that last statement. Oh how i love my people what he says about "behavior modification..." and the rest is sad but true.

@Gr8tCompany I believe he said it that way to really "stress" the message. Take a step back and listen to what he's saying. Take a look at the chapter, he's talking about "White America". He's putting emphasis on it "You is a MARVEL". It was no mistake, Somebody would've said something. It's just the one and only section of the movie that he's grammatically incorrect (on purpose). BTW I'm not trying to be fierce or "Get you together". A lot of people get the wrong idea on here. lol
