I based a tazer of my own off a disposable camera, but i beefed up everything, managed to get 5000 volts, destroyed my multimeter and worked like an ark welder, TOO WELL, managed to get it stuck to the underside of a park bench and had to come back the next day with wire cutters. ;)

Should be getting the voltage over 2000 volts.

you going to burn out the secondary winding of the transformer. you need a resistor to limit the current.

haha - you wont need that resistor if you yust leave the 3v batt in... -> about 530 W wasted energy with 68Ω and 88mA
