Very Helpful Video....now, my iphone 3 is jailbroken. I was downloading a file from CYDIA and it crashed my phone. Now my phone reboots constantly and will not go pass the apple screen. It just shuts on and shuts off, until I hold the home key and the power off button together, then it shuts completely off. How can I get into Cydia from my phone if my phone wont stay on to allow me to connect to anything?? I even tried a restore from ITUNES, but Apple wont let me restore it. please help :(

My cydia's icon was white instead of brown. And when I when i enter cydia, There's an apple icon pop out. and the backlights started to flicker. So basicaly i can still enter cydia, but with an apple icon and flickering lights. I downloaded and installed openSsh and everything was good. Thanks.

I'm using the 3Gs version 4.0.1 and Cydia 1.1.1 (If I'm not mistaken)

I tried this with iFile and now with your duck :) still same issue.

Cydia starts to run and freezes at the "Loading" screen.

Do you have other solutions to solve this issue?

all you need to do to stop cydia from crashing is jailbreak it again (even if it is currently jailbroken).

i.e. if you used spirit, run it again and plug your ipod in. Click jailbreak and wait. The same thing that happened when you first jailbroke it should happen. Now try running cydia again. I'm not sure if it works 100% but it worked for me. :)

This is the "fix'em all" method that claims to fix any cydia issues. Well, whatever i did (remove repos from cydia.list and metadata.plist and remove the problematic repo files from /var/lib/apt/lists and /var/lib/apt/lists/partial folders) the problem persisted. The only way was firmware restore. I think that sauric should make a reinstaller-fixer that restores cydia to its defaults and also restores all needed files that may have been corrupted.
