I remember my baby when she was half that size... I miss her so much. this snake is kinda skinny looking though for it to be that size, it should be MUCH thicker and heaver looking. At sixteen feet, you shouldn't even be able to pick it up by yourself.

Hey kelly, as a reptile enthusiast and keeper/breeder I'll give you my opinion. First off uploading kill videos for the purpose of watching the rodents die is wrong we can all agree there. There is only a danger to snake in feeding live if you do not monitor the feeding and are, well, careless. Also when feeding frozen prey you are offering a less nutritious meal as freezing destroys many of the nutrients the snake needs.

While many people will disagree with me and say live feeding is wrong outright, I simply disagree. And everyone is entitled to their opinion. One thing people always argue is that its cruel and the rodent suffers. Store bought frozen rodents are killed with co2, essentially suffocation. Some are even simply put in a bag and whacked off the floor to kill them. Or worse, simply thrown in a freezer to freeze to death (probably the worst way to go).

Another thing to note, is while not all, but most snakes are very effective killers. Many will kill their preyextremely fast making that death equally humane as any me or you could provide for the rodent.

However at the end of the day each individual needs to make their decision with the information out there I've made mine, and I live with it, I actually feel bad for every rat that dies, however the snakes need to eat too
